Michelle Obama says she wants nothing to do with politics now, but oddsmakers still say she’s got the best chance of any Democrat of winning the White House in four years.
Bovada, an online gambling site, says the odds of Mrs. Obama winning are 12-to-1. The next-best Democrats, Sen. Tim Kaine and Elizabeth Warren, get odds of 14-to-1.
By contrast three Republicans have higher odds: President-elect Donald Trump is a 2-to-1 bet to repeat, while Vice President-elect Mike Pence and House Speaker Paul D. Ryan are each given 10-to-1 odds.

Also, if she were to run, how would she then answer the inevitable question, after four years of Trump, “are you, at this point, proud of your country?” After all, she only became proud of America after her black husband was elected, right? So, with America having electing Trump, the antithesis of Ocarter, how could she be proud?

Their best bet is to stick Cory Booker and one of those weirdo LaRaza twins on the ticket and try to relive the grievance campaigns of the past decade.
Their second best bet is to moderate and run a middle of the road midwest Democrat. I am not sure they have any of those guys left, though.
I can’t see the Democrats running Michelle for the White House right out of the box. They’ll probably get her elected to the House or Senate first, and use that as a launching pad for a future White House bid. In the meantime, look for Elizabeth Warren, Keith Ellison, or Cory Booker to be their 2020 candidate.
They actually went back to an earlier time with Hillary running. Remember when if a governor died, his wife would take over? They call themselves progressives but on that issue they definitely turned the clock back. This would be worse: double PC, plus straight from the White House garden and bedroom to the Oval Office. Unbelievable that people would even think of doing this.
I think it’s a great idea!
But she is an Obama, and Obama got a great voter turnout and won the White House twice, and what is more appealing to liberals than a diversity candidate who is both black and a woman.
