I ask all Climate Change believers one simple question. In parts per million, how much has CO2 in the atmosphere increased in the last 40 years?

All I ever get is the deer in the headlights stare. Not a single one yet has been able to tell me the answer.

40 parts per million. Wow! 1 part per million per year, except last year when it went up a whopping 1.5ppm. CO2 in the atmosphere has gone from 360ppm to 400ppm. Citizens of the world have been scammed out of 5 trillion dollars fighting the CO2 boogey man. It's all about the money.. Eco-profiteering...

I think that the concentration of CO2 changing 1ppm/year would be called a natural fluctuation. Sure doesn't sound like something to panic over..

When we had about 4000 PPMs we had an ice age and talking about that usually gets me ignored by the alarmists. The alarmists are getting desperate. A friend of mine got into it with a liberal scientist on Facebook and I really ticked him off by linking to all the fraud. When I posted this link he had Facebook remove the entire thread:

I ask the same question and then ask them to explain how the greenhouse effect works, which of course no one can do either. There is more Argon in the atmosphere than CO2 but then few know what Argon is.

I ask them the following, ‘Was the last Ice Age (or major continental glaciation!) the last Ice Age?’ Most don't know there have been many ice ages!

I then ask, 'Are really in between two separate major continental glaciations or are we still in an ice age and this is just a temperate lull between glaciation. We know in the past from geology that lulls can last 1000s, 10,000s, 100,000s even million of years (likely even more!)'

If I get to that question their response is to usually walk away.

Put it in perspective for them. Ask:

"If you traveled 40ppm of the distance from JFK to LAX, where would you be?"

CO2 and greenhouse gasses . . . . who cares? The simple fact is that Climate Change is anthropogenic in nature. The earth was in a perfect state of equilibrium before Adam ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. Eventually that led to a catastrophic global flood. It is mans sins that cause these calamities and not SUVS and air conditioning units (I like my AC just fine). So, like a broken clock, liberals are correct about effect and cause but are wrong about the method and resolution. They can legislate us into the Stone Age and it won't accomplish a thing (other than mass starvation).
