The guys from Taofledermaus took 12 large, extremely sharp X-Acto blades and loaded them into hi-brass 12gauge shotgun shells. They were hoping to see if the razors would stay intact. These are highly sharpen razor blades wrapped with industrial thread, the whole load is encased inside the 12 gauge shotgun shell.
The threads were meant to hold them in place while in flight, but in this test it didnt work out. Electrical tape was also used, but with the same result. Various targets were used for testing such as watermelon, the head of a manequin and three large cucumbers. See the full action here.
An article in an old Gun Digest illustrated a military fletchette 12 gauge round that looked rather scary. The dozen projectiles contained within looked like little Sidewinder missiles.
Why use Shredder Ammo when you can now have newly created XRBR ammo.
Xtreme Rabid Badger Rounds signal a paradigm shift in home defense and anti-terrorism ammunition. Utilizing the same state of the art technology that puts foam dinosaurs in those plastic capsules that dissolve in hot water, I’ve been able to enhance what would be otherwise boring hollowpoint ammunition with a rabid badger core. The exact process is like, totally secret and proprietary.
Upon striking the body of your target, a rabid badger is unleashed through a process that involves a lot of really hard to understand math and physics calculations, and possibly some magic. The resulting stopping power goes beyond devastating, and is actually completely unable to be measured. In every ballistic test conducted, the badger ate the gelatin block, and then quickly turned on the testers.
My cores use very expensive laboratory grade badgers that are 99.9% pure, and 100% insane with rabies.
The shock of a rabid badger bursting from a teammate’s body and then going totally nuts adds a psychological warfare element unmatched by any other ammunition maker in the industry today. To further enhance this, I took a cue from the A-10 Warthog, and painted a scary face on each and every round.
Already in use by Elite Team Fighting and many other highly trained special operations forces around the world, XRBR rounds represent the zenith in small arms ammunition technology. Get yours today!
M60A1? I did, too. A nightmare for troops, and good for clearing jungle, I hear.
That’s cute.
Now for a real world scary round, try Oath TSR: expands to 3”.

$10/round.
Two large pellets attached by a chain would be an awesome test to see from a shotgun
how do we contact these guys?
how so? (I imagine the salt would sting a bit- but non-fatal)
Serious question- anyone know what happens with rock salt?
Time to prepare is now, not when it is too late
Makes sense to me.
I still like my Centurians.
One dime size ball surrounded by bunch of smaller ones.
Ouch.
2 barrel cannon in Athens Georgia where they tried just that.
Cannon balls in each barrel with a chain attaching .
Hard to ignite at same time though.
I can see a Max Sennate commedy here.
Imagine a herd of rutabagas! Oh, the horrors!

At the 1:20 mark you see what it would have done to a line of infantry.
To the seat of the pants, gets the point across quickly.
You beat me to it...link to what APERS will do in post 31.
The bolos are awesome!
LOL! Speaking of
The only time I recall eating rutabagas but they are fabulous in this recipe...

I’ve had pasties! Good food up there.
Scouts Out! Cavalry Ho! God Bless Texas!
I have no idea if they’re still in use. We had them in Korea in the early ‘90s - ready to use against the hordes pouring in from the north.
