This morning I was texting a friend and I went to type "trump" and Siri did not offer to capitalize it for me. I find that interesting. It is funny to see what the liberals at apple find necessary to capitalize. I usually switch their suggestions off.
It is also used as a both noun and a verb when used as a term from card games for the card suit that has priority in order of value. The King and Queen of trumps." or "My three of trumps took that trick!" in Bridge. It is used in Bridge, Pinochle, and other card games.
It’s used in the game spades. I wouldn’t expect it to be capitalized. However, I’m replacing the word “murder” with “clintoned” in my personal phone dictionary.
Trump can be a proper noun as in the family name or it can be a common noun as in a card suit in bridge or it can be a verb as in playing a trump card to win a trick in bridge.
Does your iPhone capitalize clinton to Clinton. (The auto-correction software here on FreeRepublic does so.) I maintain that Clinton can be a proper noun as in the family name or a verb meaning to discard without emotion after using a person for one’s own purposes.
You’d better report me to the Inquisition then.
“Youd better report me to the Inquisition then.”
Nah, condescending o-holes like you are a dime a dozen at FR lately.
#NeverTrump FReaks are thankfully a little rarer here these days, but still deserve a public outing.
Otherwise, I don’t personally give an obama about you.
Have a nice day.

big deal. My own name is also a common noun, and doesn’t get automatically capitalized either.
This is about as productive and looking to see what google is using for their avatar de jour.
Once you realize that a smartphone is not a suitable substitute for an actual keyboard, then you will understand.
