All Stuart had to to was attack Custer at Gettysburg and it is very likely the Lee would have won that battle. But Custer’s bravado and daring one the day. Stuart just was not the equal of Custer that day.

My “introduction” to JEB Stuart was the comic book, “The Haunted Tank,” way back when, maybe back in the mid-to-late-60s.
When I was young, it began to pique my interest in the Civil War.
