Much like my daughter's professor who actively campaigned to shut down the Andersonville National Cemetery, who was shocked to find out that only one Confederate soldier was buried there. She had been campaigning to shut down a national park honoring 13,000 UNION soldiers.
Even though I am totally aligned with the Rebels, I do honor a Union great-great grandfather of my mine who died and is buried at Andersonville. At the time of his death at 26, he left behind a wife and three daughters in Sevierville, TN.
