I dont think I need to say too much here. They videos speak for themselves pretty nicely. But Ill make these two observations:
The RNC prayer makes multiple mentions of Jesus and acknowledges His lordship, while not mentioning any political candidate a single time. DNC mentions: Hillary 1, Jesus 0.
I am quite aware that different churches have different styles of worship, but even urban Pentecostal churches dont whoop and holler during prayer. Every other time, you bet, but not during prayer.
If you listen carefully she says “nominate Hillar Rotten Clinton”. Not kidding.
Pride goes before the fall.
OK...this is in NO WAY commending the alleged "prayer" uttered @ the DNC...
But when you say "multiple mentions of Jesus," I need to ask: WHICH JESUS? [See final link below]
This is all relevant to discuss because the prayer said @ the RNC...& in fact, 4 of the last 5 RNC opening public prayers, have been spoken to the specific Mormon god...who, per Mormons themselves, is a mere "ex-man." [Mormons believe their god graduated from manhood...& was never divine from eternity past]
See: Mormons have prayed at four of the GOPs past five national conventions
So the Question of "Which Jesus" and to "Which god" was prayed to is a REAL one!
Does it make a difference 'which' Jesus we believe in? [Vanity of comparing the 'christs']
As somebody just asked in another context, "Why does the RNC keep insisting on trusting in counterfeit gods?"
Which, btw, runs on BOTH sides of the political aisle:
The Republicans picked a temple Mormon to run in the last election...somebody whose belief was that, he, too, would become a god someday?
And we wonder why the Dems keep running amok over Republicans?
And now the Republicans keep trusting in the false Mormon god to deliver us politically...having Mormons pray the opening prayer in 4 of last 5 conventions?
What next? Prayers to Allah @ the RNC?
Why can't the GoP begin praying to the ONE TRUE GOD of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob?
No need to comment, the video really does say it all.
Charismatics for Hillary...LOL! Priceless.
Looks like that so called ‘unified’ prayer at the DNC brought disunity instead.
The DNC prayer is what you get when you get rid of all that stifling gospel stuff.
Please don’t ping me with your Mormon bashing. It’s actually kind of embarrassing reading your never ending diatribes against Mormons. Whatever personal grudge you have against them I’m not really interested.
Dude, you gotta lot of trouble bottled up inside yourself.
I don’t think it is a dude, I think it is a she-dog.
Trouble? (No) Concern? (Yes) Provocation? (Yes)
Just like the apostle Paul:
29 I know that after I leave, savage wolves will come in among you and will not spare the flock. 30 Even from your own number men will arise and distort the truth in order to draw away disciples after them. 31 So be on your guard! Remember that for three years I never stopped warning each of you night and day with tears. (Acts 20)
I'll take the apostle Paul's concern, which he exhibited via warnings night & day with tears for 3 yrs...over your cold indifference any day!
My mistake...should have pinged #1...

Hijacking?
The very focus of this thread, in case you failed to notice, is a vid-recording of a Mormon praying in a political context.
That is objectionable to me as much as the vid-recording of the Democrat praying.
Or are you obtuse?
the best way to impress others with your concern for their souls.
Yeah, I can imagine you getting to heaven, calling Jesus over, & saying..."hey, Jesus...about the latter half of John 8...not sure you referencing the Pharisees & Scribes as children of the devil was 'the best way to impress' them 'with your concern for their souls.'"
And then, you might add, "Same with Matthew 23. Whitewashed tombstones? Snakes? Really, Jesus? Was that REALLY 'the best way to impress' them 'with your concern for their souls?'"
I haven't even gone anywhere close to what Jesus said about the legalists of that era in John 8 or Mt. 23. And yet you presume to lecture not only me discussing the legalists of our day, but by extension Jesus...
Well, hey...good luck with that!
You really ought to take a deep breath and re-think your strategy.
And what might be your commentary about Jesus' alleged "antipathy" for Pharisees & Scribes?
Rational or not?
I don't think Jesus needs your psycho-analysis-by-stranger. (I know I don't)
