Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani told a revved up Republican crowd on Thursday that if Donald Trump becomes president, the statute of limitations is not up. There is no double jeopardy. We can reopen the case. This isnt the first hint that weve gotten that a possible President Trump would go after Clinton for her use of private email server while serving as Secretary of State. In fact, the Republican presidential hopeful has said so himself.
Go get em, one Republican reportedly shouted to Giuliani after he made that announcement at the event in Cleveland, according to The New York Post....

Giuliani would make a great special prosecutor.
No shit Sherlock.
Hillary isn’t just running to be POTUS, she is running to not become a FELON.
Law and Order baby.
Yes, he would and he deserves it.
Between him and Christie, they’ll have to make new prisons :)
Their presidential aspiratinos were never realistic in the Republican party, but they certainly can help in other positions.
Christie’s taken out Rubio, slammed Cruz and rocked hillary in his speech.
Rudy didn’t meet ONCE with Sharpton when he was mayor.
When I found out Rand Paul did, that was it for me.
Obama will pardon her and others
On his way out the door 0bama will grant her a pardon for any crimes she may have committed. Naturally, a nice size donation to the 0bama presidential library or something, will be made by the Clinton Foundation. She may also arrange for some $500,000 speeches in Saudi Arabia.
The senate will fight tooth and nail, with some republicans helping out, to stop Trump’s appointments...such as AG and FBI director. He can make recess appointments left and right.
Dear God in heaven, let it be so. Holding her and other crooked Dems (Lerner!) accountable for their actions would be a Yuge step towards restoring the rule of law. I’d also like to see them open up the details on any numbet of other Obama cover-ups, like Benghazi for example.
I’m envisioning a weekly press conference in which the new AG details an additional scandal they uncovered and charges they will be pursuing.
A person cannot be pardoned by the President unless they have been convicted of a crime. Obama can’t pardon Hillary, unless she is first convicted.
Bingo
No, he will not.
To pardon anyone, they must first be convicted of a crime. Hillary will not even be indicted let alone convicted of anything while Obama remains in office. That fix has already been settled.
President Trump may choose to authorize an indictment and trial of Hillary Clinton. He will need to clean out the Justice Department and the FBI before proceeding with such a policy. It will take a few months at the very least.
By that point, ex-President Obama will have no say in the matter.
He might pardon her, I agree. But Trump and the team can deem her and the whole staff involved in the email business as security risks, and forbid any security clearance for the remainder of their lives. The OMB folks could also be handed paperwork that would make it awful tough for the support staff to get any gov’t position (even working for some Senator). And then he’d come to the Clinton Foundation. I would imagine that there’s to be a tax audit of the whole ‘gimmick’ and they will be called in to answer questions.
Obama cant pardon Hillary, unless she is first convicted.
Ford pardoned Nixon without him having been convicted.
In 1866, the Supreme Court ruled in Ex parte Garland that the pardon power “extends to every offence known to the law, and may be exercised at any time after its commission, either before legal proceedings are taken, or during their pendency, or after conviction and judgment.”
when Obama leaves the white house he is probably going to pardon a lot of people that worked for him. I would not be surprised if there are over 1500 pardons that are blanket pardons.
Can a pardon be revoked?
Since Hillary will not have been tried there would be no double jeopardy risk if she were to be prosecuted by the trump admin. Assuming there is some mechanism whereby a pardon can be revoked.
What crime was Richard Nixon convicted of?
I don’t think Trump would do anything once he one.
