Looking at the man who asked this question, I won't say he was a plant to throw the presumptive GOP nominee off track, but I will say there are some American voters who do not want to defend Israel anymore, but that won't be the policy of Donald Trump.
This elderly gentleman was able to mention two issues to Trump before he sat down. One of them was about the sanctity of life and which Trump agreed to. The second one is where the man said the following:
I opposed to our wasting our military in the Middle East, on behalf of Zionist Israel, thank you.Trump quickly responded to the second question first, and that's what you'll see in the video below.

Do you think Trump nailed this answer? The media will most definitely try to make something out of it but in our opinion, he did the right thing and gave the right answer.

Would have been nice if Trump had said “but they have to pay up” like he does about all the other countries we defend. Interesting how he didn’t go that route with Israel.

Not one American soldier has fought for Israel since the end of WW2 (Col. Mickey Marcus was one). Not against Egyptian aggression and Nasser’s illegal seizure of the Suez Canal in 1956, the PLO fascist mini-state in Lebanon,
Syrian aggression against Israel, r even against Hamas, an avowed enemy of America, etc. etc. etc.

In any event - Israel is going to take care of itself just fine. They'll do better with our support but they'll do okay even with a Muslim in the White House.

The enemies of the Jews use “Zionist Entity” or “Zionist Israel” or “Zionism” as a perjorative and it is prima facie evidence of their Antisemitism. You cannot separate Zion from Israel, and it depends on the context in which it is used. As a perjorative, it is prima facie evidence of AntiSemitism. Trump sent a clear message that there are no tickets on his train for antisemites.
Arab Muslims spit that term zionist like a cuss word when referring to Israel’s insistence on stopping Muslim aggression.
