A few minutes ago, I received a call from the Republican National Committee. I had stopped sending them money a while back, disgusted by their willingness to go along with the Obama agenda.
The lady on the phone claimed to be a 76-year-old grandmother, and that the RNC needed the money to support Donald Trump and combat "crooked Hillary".
It was a great pitch. I found my resolve slipping. I told her that she was a great salesperson, but that I would have to think it over with my friends at freerepublic.
So, what is the best way to support the Republican presumptive nominee. The lady from the RNC said Rence Priebus is completely on board with Donald Trump.
Are they a good vehicle for supporting Trump?
What are the advantages of giving money to the RNC?
What are the disadvantages of giving money to the RNC?
What are other vehicles for support of the Republican nominee?
How much $ did the RNC squander on Yheb!?
Give directly to the candidate. Do not support the DC political class
Hi,
Just wanted you to know that I copy/pasted your post into another thread...(and forgot to Ping you!)

That’s why I’m saying donating time would be better choice if you don’t want to donate money.
Later in the cycle, I’d agree.

Money bomb on June 14th for Mr Trumps Birthday!!
*******************************************************
When we Freepers do this on June 14, be sure to add a note to the donation that indicates you are a FREEPER at FREE REPUBLIC, so our Donald will know that:
FREEPERS LOVE TRUMP!!!!
YEA!!!!! Can’t wait to surprise him:

I have noticed recently their tactic is to talk fast and ignore any attempt to ask them a question. Probably tired of getting an earful on each phone call. I tried several times to politely decline a donation but since they won’t stop talking, I just lay the receiver on the table and walk away. Later when I am near the phone I hang it up. The last one my wife asked me why the phone was off the hook. After I explained what I was doing, she picked it up and hung it up, then turned to me and told me the guy was still talking.
He is not self funding himself in the general election nor should he
It’s not only his responsibility to take on th beast and win
June 14th is The Donald”s birthday??? June 14th is Flag Day...how appropriate for our country.
Sounds like a telemarketing scam.
So in other words what a Trump said before was all BS?
Or is it that Trump is now beholden to his masters?
Which is it?
We are giving directly to Trump’s campaign. We told the RNC caller that when they go Bill Kristol and Paul Ryan under control to calls us.
Go on his website and give it direct to him. Do not trust the RNC.
She lied.
“Which is it?”
I have no idea.
Just pointing out that a national election is more expensive than primaries. The “experts” have said Trump will need to raise funds for the national. They have been wrong so far on a lot of things Trump.
You never give money to the rnc.
You give to the candidate.
With the RNC it’s never legit; give directly to the TRUMP campaign.
He always said he was self-funding the primaries and would make a decision later about accepting money for the general. He never outright stated he would totally self fund in the general. It would be his ideal, but that is a LOT of scratch!
I agree.
NEVER GIVE THE RNC MONEY. Find another way.
