Lance Wallnau: God is raising up Trump as a ‘wrecking ball’ for the nation
Canada Free Press ^ | 05/16/16 | Dan Calabrese

An Isaiah 45 leader, "though you do not acknowledge me," in the manner of Cyrus.

Just so you know, Donald Trump has not only inspired a rift among political conservatives. He’s inspired one among Christians as well. Many high-profile Christian teachers are appalled that so many evangelicals have backed a man of considerable moral failings, especially when he demonstrates very limited understanding of or commitment to the Gospel.

On the surface, it seems so obvious: Ted Cruz is one of us, so why would evangelicals reject him in favor of Donald Trump? And yet many did. The question is so vexing it’s led some - including people I deeply respect like Dr. Michael Brown - to question whether this means God’s judgment is finally coming on our nation for our sustained rebellion against Him.

Yeah, well, I'm pretty sure Jesus wasn't running this time. I think Trump is as good as any that did run, and far more qualified to do the job. If Trump is asking God for wisdom, that's a pretty good place to start

Of course, pastors usually don’t run. I look at character, from a variety of viewpoints. Thanks for the link and the conversation.

“For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?” (I Peter 4:17)

Cruz is no Christian, he is according to his father - coming savior of Seven Mountain Dominionist (Church) Cult!
... beside being Cuban-Canadian son of Cuban communist Castro supporter.

I haven’t seen a bias in favor of Christianity on Trump’s part. On the contrary, he has already basically declared he won’t fight against homosexuality or trannies, and says that the murderous Planned Parenthood does good work. There’s pretty much no difference between him and the Hildebeast on those key moral issues.

God isn’t neutral regarding moral issues. The Bible teaches us that we must strive to get right morally, and then blessings of peace and prosperity flow from that.

Mat 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Prosperity can be achieved in no other way. $20 trillion in debt should show that to one and all, almost all of which has been accumulated since our nation began rejecting God and His rules.

So I’ll be voting Constitution Party. Again. I have to face God someday and explain why I voted as I did. I can’t in good conscience vote for Trump. And that’s what we all have to do: Vote our conscience.

If he were to put forward a strong social conservative as his running mate, and promise to make religious freedom exceptions regarding businesses serving the pervs, I’d be willing to reconsider. But at this point he just keeps tacking further and further left, so I don’t see that happening.

Fine. It would be nice if you could just keep it between yourself and God. Leave us out of it. Trump is going to win so get used to it.

Presbyterians believe in the Trinity, repeat it, and use communion to ask for forgiveness of their sins.

Geez. Why do not professed Christians grow up and just look at David? God is in charge. People serve His interests as tools or willing servants.

Cruz was preferred because the Dominionists, the Seventh Day Adventists and the Mormons seem comfortable with corporatism and globalism. It fits in with their “prophecies’. They tout him and some Evangelicals fall for it.

I, and many others, respectfully disagree.

Given the subject of the thread, why would a discussion of one poster’s accountability to God be a problem? Might be off-topic on another thread, though.

Freedom of speech... Freedom of religion... Pro-Christianity website...

I just wonder how all the Trump supporters will react when our slow motion collapse continues unabated on his watch, because he’s trying to achieve prosperity back-ackwards?

Nothing would please me more than to be proven wrong, that Trump brings peace and plenty, but I just don’t see it happening. We’re too systemically screwed up and stupid to fix things. A large proportion of our population things really stupid or perverted things are smart or good.

Dang it- I hit reply too soon. I appreciate the clarification regarding the Presbyterian Church’s traditions re: Communion. Thanks!

Well, when you’ve seen so many evangelical leaders with considerable moral failings...

Human is as human does....I am Christian and i know my failings.
