Its very rare that a campaign commercial is memorable enough to be talked about as a work of art as it is an attempt at propaganda. In 1964, the Daisy Ad which depicted a little girl at ground zero before being obliterated by a nuclear blast only ran once, but it helped Lyndon Johnson drive home the message that Barry Goldwater was too dangerous to be president. The Bear in the Woods ad that President Reagan ran against Walter Mondale was subtle but effective in imparting the message that the former vice president would be weak against the Soviets. Now, Ted Cruz has run an anti-Trump ad called War Room.

Saw it, boring and banal, just like Cruz.
A couple of days ago Cruz was rambling off the same old talkingpoints Republicans have been using for decades — lower taxes, smaller government, end the IRS, yada yada yada.
Cruz is just another politician who will promise the world to get elected and then forget who elected him. Just like the House and Senate.
That is what Trump has going for him. Maybe he doesn’t fulfill all the promises. Maybe he doesn’t fulfill any of the promises. But we the the politicians won’t.
To build the Obama legacy, today we got news that this is the lowest unemployment in 42 years. No mention of the 92 million out of the workforce. Economic growth, best ever. Yada yada yada.
The next president is going to inherit an economy on the verge of collapse. I doubt any of the ‘pass another bailout’ politicians have any idea how to fix it. Maybe a businessman can.
This is beyond mear politics. It is about the future of the nation. More of the same politicians and politics? or at least try something different. I support the latter because the former has failed for decades.
Ted’s insanity is not a laughing matter.
... dude. "Potty rights" ain't even on my radar. Seriously.
bump
I think this position says much about Trump, and it ain’t good. You are so frustrated that you are allowing the leftists to run roughshod over human rights, and Trump is cheering them on!
Really? The GOPe SUPPORTS the “rights” of perverts, as does Donald. Cruz supports women’s privacy, which is the only moral choice.
I have no idea in what in the hell you are talking about. However Ted Cruz is in the pocket of the GOPe.
You know what I am talking about. The GOPe and Donald have surrendered to the Gay Mafia, and Ted has not.
We each have our priorities.
‘You know what I am talking about. The GOPe and Donald have surrendered to the Gay Mafia, and Ted has not.”
What in the hell does that have to do with this thread? And no I do not know what you are talking about.
Why was Ted’s dad not divorced from his first wife until the year 1996? Why was Ted’s dad divorced from Ted’s mom in 1997?
Was Ted’s mom ever officially married (legally) to Ted’s dad?
LOL!
I was thinking the same thing about Trump
True he is a joke, but it’s not funny.
Except it’s easy to run against Ted Cruz. He is unelectable.
Ted has to have been born out of wedlock. His mother was a Brit citizen who became a Canadian citizen. Ted needs to be run out of this race. He is not eligible and he damn well knows it.
What a dirtbag.
indeed....but hey Mr Constitutionalist is just so perfect
Well we have the DiC who wasn’t born here and now we have Ted who wasn’t born here......
Cruz does lie. A lot.
Agreed...it’s an amazing shame!
