So you win the state and the loser ends up more delegates, really. This is disgusting and disturbing.
(Excerpt) Read more at twitter.com ...
I voted for Ted Cruz and I agree with Huckabee on this.
There more details that leak out the more it seems that the republicans have a system similar to that of the democrats’ “Super Delegates”.
They just have different terminology and have been able to keep it under wraps a little longer.
Democrats tell you upfront there are superdelegates. Republicans do it with a wink, a nod, and a finger on the side of their nose.
Disgusting indeed...A vote for Cruz is a vote for the establishment and business as usual. It’s just the illusion of change that he is peddling.
Memo from On High:
1. Forget the bad stuff we said about Huck.
2. Like Krispy and Pyramid, he’s now One of Us.
3. Gooble gobble.
These nasty tactics are destroying Cruz’s credibility and his chances to ever win any political office again. It wouldn’t be quite as bad if he would just keep his mouth shut about it. It is one thing to be disenfranchising millions of voters; it is another thing to be bragging about it.
Huckabee will always do whatever he can to keep the most conservative candidate out.
We Trump supporters aren’t trying to save the GOP! we want them destroyed as in reduced to dust so they no longer can sell us out for their personal gain ever again!
I have always liked Huckabee. He wasn’t my candidate but I never disliked or said anything bad about him. But I kind of get your first two Memo points; what does #3 mean?
How many of you skirt the tax law by claiming every possible deduction and the a bit extra to not pay as much taxes? So now, what’s wrong with working within the rules to get every possible delegate? There is no obligation an any state to hold popular votes in primary elections for President. It ain’t in the constitution folks. Get over it!
It’s also disrespectful.
I do not appreciate Ted Cruz anymore.
You know, believe it or not, in the 60 years I have paid taxes, I have never once taken a deduction I was not entitled to and didn’t have paperwork to back it up.
Guess I just have a problem with dishonesty, no matter where it is.
If this is what “most conservative” is all about, then I really don’t want anything to do with it.
It means he’s a turkey.
So you win Florida with 45.7% of the vote and you end up with 100% of the delegates. This is disgusting and disturbing.
See? Works both ways. Stop whining.
538 electors in the electoral college, 270 needed to win. One elector for each House critter, two for senators. Simple.
You can believe the left branch, and even the right branch of Uniparty would be screaming bloody murder if one of their electors decided they decided they didn’t want to vote with the voters they are expected to represent.
Resident Cruzers would say, the candidate not receiving the vote s/he earned from American voters didn’t know what he was doing or wasn’t “working hard enough” and/or was “whining” about losing.
When in fact they won.
I suppose it could be explained as a matter of ‘whose ox is getting gored,’ but oddly enough it seems to be only Cruz who is gaining these fickle delegates.
Consequently, we see here the disgust by the rest of us to these lame, no, not lame—risible excuses for delegate theft, similar to the outrage that would be expressed by (at least the left wing of) Uniparty if the same thing happened November 6th.
Mike swings million of evangelicals fro lyin’ ted.
