These anti-Cruz Christians dig deep, coming up with reasons so weak not to choose Cruz that they equal saying Ted Cruz took another kid’s candy when he was seven. A highly respected theologian used Romans 1:18-32 as the text for his sermon. The verses speak of people so stubborn and in love with their sin that God turned His back on them; giving them over to reprobate minds.

Well, Christianity “ain’t” about being perfect or doing enough good works to outweigh one’s bad. Christianity is about repentance and totally trusting Jesus to get into heaven. Surrendering one’s life to Christ gives them a heart for God. They desire and strive to do the right thing, though they fail repeatedly. “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Matthew 26:41
Ted Cruz does not profess perfection. The man was wise enough to realize that he is a sinner in need of a savior, Jesus. He surrendered his life to Christ. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” Proverbs 9:10

Whenever it started, it is indefensible and yet some here defend it and the disregard the GOP has for all voters. Voters are treated like the Dems do blacks— only noticed/valued at election time. It is time elected officials accept that they represent voters they don’t own them. They should work for us.

It’s true a lot of crap is being exposed in all this. It wouldn’t have without Trump. I hope he is legit. I would vote for him it comes down to it. But not happily. Not happily for Cruz either.

I love the two quotes from scripture. How very true.
How strange that this forum, which was established to facilitate the exchange of ideas, and be a clearing house for supporting conservative ideals, has devolved to a state of mud slinging between those who support one candidate or another. How much of this mud slinging is from those who are not really conservative, but who in there heart want to destroy this forum?
We are now faced with an upcoming convention that may or may not be a contested convention. Some act like this has never happened in the past.
I get the feeling that there are those who post, who would really like to destroy the Republican Party. They don't care if this happens. They only care about punishing elected conservatives for not succeeding under the present makeup of Congress. They feel that all should be punished. But they are aiming at the conservatives. They accuse conservatives of being GOPe. While this is happening, the socialist are going about their business as usual, and trying to be the biggest Santa Clause in the room. They also seem intent upon destroying our nation.
With this I fear that a crisis of monumental proportions is being engineered for our Republic. We are looking more and more like the conditions in Germany, before Hitler came to power.
Laws aren't enforced. The President imposes his own version of laws by Executive Order, those who stand for truth are indicted (the person who exposed Planned Parenthood). The Democrat political elite break the law with impunity (Holder, Clinton etc.). People are looking for a “strong man”.
We are being faced with a looming economic collapse. We are faced with illegal aliens, intent upon harm, flooding our country across open borders, and the importation of those who do not share the nation's Judeo Christian values, upon which our Republic was established. Once elected, will the the person elected be able to bring our country out of this crisis?
What prevents Obama from declaring a crisis, imposing marshal law, suspending the Constitution, and declaring himself dictator for life?
Cruz and Rand Paul were the only conservatives that ran in this years race. Trump is an opportunist, he believes only in himself. Whatever he talks himself into, will be his creed.
You know that first sentence you posted is at best spin, at worst a lie.
IF God picked Cruz to be president, Cruz would have already resigned his senate seat... God does not approve of taking a salary for work you do not do. Most especially when there is ‘oath’ taking involved.
