If you think President Richard Nixon was paranoid to the point of having an enemies list, consider the Donald J. Trump statement following his crushing defeat by Sen. Ted Cruz in the Wisconsin primary. Trump did not make the statement personally, lest he provide enough ad hominem sound bites to last a generation. Rather he and his myth of invincibility hid from the camera he usually loves. The statement blaming his loss on everybody and everything but himself, and with the first word after his name being a lie, reads...

Touche!
Carpenter has finally had some of the wind knocked out of her sails, but the jury is still out on her ability to actually detach from Cruz, politically speaking, to ever perform as anything but a political hack.
Her tweets reflect her own obvious self indulgence, as she shows up at the panelists table with Wolf or Anderson, to self righteously lecture the old guard DC professional pundits, like Gloria Borger and David Gergan, as if she were some kind of elitist political sage. Not.

Ted Cruz in the Wisconsin primary.I do not think that Trump really suffered a "crushing defeat" in the Wisconsin primary. You need to take another look at the county by county results, the broader picture of demographics, and an intelligent analysis.
Such may show that his Wisconsin win is NOT a bellwether of future primaries, but a blip in the process.

Say hello to all the unicorns and butterflies in Trumpopia for me.

All successful politicians have narcissistic personalities to some degree, it goes with the territory. Ted Cruz is every bit the narcissist that Trump is, it just shows a little differently (giving campaign speeches where he all but claims to be God's annointed aren't exactly the sign of a humble man).
In fact, Cruz's candidacy at this point is a combination of vanity and spite. He knows that he won't get the majority of the delegates he needs outright. He also knows that the RNC will never allow their pet delegates to select him in the brokered convention he's likely to give them (which will go for Ryan, Bush, or someone else the establishment likes). So only the most narcissistic reason - personal spite - keeps Cruz in the race. The alternative, that he's just the willing dupe of the GOP power brokers, is even worse, so I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt.

Trumpism and reality are quite exclusive, too.

Watch Cruz’s concession speeches, they were a mixture of vomitous hate for Trump, with insane self congratulatory glee at coming in third.

Just checking in to see the Freeper rationalizations for this aberrant behavior by Trump that will roll in from the Cult, many grasping at straws to countenance and explain it away. Let's see.... How many?
You'd have to be blind as a bat, or have no objectivity left, to see the disorder as it is.

I contend every human being born, came with narcissistic traits... Some people actually out grow these traits... The rest fall into a category of compartmentalization of narcissism and sycophant disorders... Pathological lying is the most common trait of a full blown narcissist. The more groomed narcissist have the God factor, using whatever means necessary to get what they believe they are entitled to have or be.
Cruz displayed his narcissism when McConnell refused to have the Senate resolve Cruz to be eligible to hold the office of president. Cruz threw a hissy fit and publicly called McConnell a liar.

Well, well, well, I can understand why you would be upset with my post at #23,
MR DANIEL JOHN SOBIESKI.
You've been overplaying your hand Daniel, and many FReepers have probably overlooekd your including the following in your tagline:
In other words, you're just pimping your own article over on "American Thinker".
You're a fraud and a phony, and 'raptor22' is just your alias here on Free Republic.
So what kind of credentials DO you have that qualify you to make a diagnosis of
"Nascissistic Personality Disorder"?
I'm betting the answer is
ZERO.
You're *BUSTED* Sparky!

There is healthy narcissism (strong belief in yourself) and there is unhealhty narcissistic personality disorder.
You don’t to have a personality disorder to be a politician, in fact most people are repelled by people with personality disorders over the long term.
Initially, they are interesting and “different” but after a while, they grate on you.
To: mkjessup
Is that allowed? Pimping your own blog on FR? Seems an ancient old idiot here has missed one.

Well the mods moved this thread over to 'bloggers and personal' so at least Daniel 'Raptor22' John Sobieski knows where to post this sort of garbage in the future.

Yes, to my knowledge it is allowed, just as long as it is posted in the appropriate section, as there are several that do it. IBD Editorial (or something like that) does it, as do a few others.
