While caught up in this Trump/Cruz war of words this weekend, impy and I were ripping up each other verbally when he privately admitted that he was not himself.
He was more testy than normal because his father had a terrible accident which destroyed one of his eyes. The eye risks infection and will need to be removed Thursday.
This Easter weekend was bad enough.
But with someone you care about being seriously injured at the same time?
Please pray for Impy's father and make a quick prayer for impy as well.
At the same time, we need to keep reminding ourselves -- that person you're debating is a human being. And not just any person either, but someone who cares deeply about the USA.
But I confess, I'm getting more polarized by the day every time someone taunts me or someone who I agree with. It will continue to stay ugly.
But I hope that all of us can at least unplug from this now and then, pray for each other, and sometimes even thank our loyal opposition for being a good person.
Prayers said for all involved, and our nation.

Stand down? Man that is not cool. I say never give up, never surrender (GalaxyQuest). Yeah, I reflected for a day. But yesterday, innocent Christian women and children were targeted by Islamic extremists in Pakistan. Meanwhile, Obozo visits his Marxist anti-Colonialist friend in South America. This behavior is more salt in the wounds of this great country, the USA. Where is the answer to Benghazi? Where is the answer for Hillary’s private email server and the Clinton Foundation, pay-to-play? Where is the accountability for a President who breaks an oath that he made to preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States? OK, I’m done now. Sorry Impy, still praying for you. Please pray for me too, y’all. Prayer works but you must believe.

Not quite done yet, where is the answer for a $4T 2016 budget, a budget that Obummer wanted six years ago. The repububicans gave him everything he wanted. This will not stand.

I pray for Impy, his father, you, and all of FR. Over the last eight years we’ve gotten salty. We’re angry, argumentative, testy. Even FR has been tainted by obama’s (and I shudder to type this) leadership.
