What do you do when you are snubbed by Ted Cruz? You go work for the anti-Cruz and attempt to ruin him and his wife evidently.

Katrina Pierson has proven she will stop at nothing to get herself into the spotlight. Where once I thought she was a smart, sassy woman who had pulled herself up by her bootstraps, I now pity the bizarre, plastic caricature she has become. This is not the Katrina Pierson I knew.

Though much ado has been made about the affair rumor being cooked up by Marco Rubio's folks, I would suggest a closer look at Trumps personal bulldog instead.

Pierson spent her time as a volunteer on Cruz's Senate campaign, attempting to make herself look far more important to him than she actually was. She played the part well, making sure someone took photos of her the handful of times she ever met him. It's what shallow people do just so they can appear important.

The more I got to know Pierson, the more I saw her vindictive side. This whole nonsense about Cruz, affairs and dirt on Heidi Cruz all stem from the little snotty chick who has temper tantrums and holds massive grudges.

Ask yourself, exactly what is Pierson's motivation for slamming Cruz and the Mrs., when only a few short months ago she was singing her praises as,"The Next First Lady!"

If you can do that, and turn around and bash her, you either have multiple personality disorder, or you have sinister motives. So which is it?

In Clinton’s case, there was evidence that was known and reported from day one: Linda Tripp had recorded conversations with Monica Lewinsky discussing the affair in lurid detail. Monica had preserved a dress with Clinton’s DNA on it. Monica Lewinsky was a White House intern who was known to have contact with and spent time with Clinton. Those are facts that were known from the earliest stages of the scandal. What do you know about any of Cruz’s supposed mistresses or about the supposed affairs?

A long article containing zero evidence that Pierson planted the story and Pierson’s subsequent denial of the affair strongly suggsts that she did not. That said, Trump should probably be careful with Ms. Pierson.

Of course a lawyer would leave a paper trail of anything he does. It is his job to make sure it does not happen. Problem with the $500K it is sitting out there in the open.

There is plenty of proof that Rubio has been pushing this story for months, but that destroys your talking points to deflect the scandal as an evil Trump trick.

Points well taken. My point however, is that in spite of all of the damning evidence against him, Clinton still wagged his finger in our faces and denied the affair...and did so until the DNA showed up.

there’s nothing concrete right now... that is true. Are you at all disconcerted by his relationship with Amanda? Just on the basis of what she posted on social media. Do you think its a bit immature that Ted also played along, and gave her a shout out by showing the temp tattoo he also got on Fox news? I also found it very strange that the fox news people asked him why he wasn’t wearing a jacket. Either he or Amanda prepped them to ask that. Then she posts a foto on social media wearing a mens suit jacket? So creepy and immature... whatever their relationship was.

Discussing the veracity of the source of a story is not a diversion. It speaks to the heart of it.

How do you know she is the source of the sex scandal story? Just asserting that does not make it true. And what has she said about either Ted or Heidi that is not true?

Fixed it. We’ll see. The NE is in the process of building up suspense. THAT’S what sells papers. If there’s no “there- there” at the end, its the end for NE.

I’m betting the “There-there” is coming AFTER they set up sCruz’s denials and false counter charges....But I’m willing to wait to see if what I suspect is true....you should too in re NE lack of hard evidence at this juncture.....

Carly took Cruz to the cleaners, she's lived her life in the real world playing hardball at the highest level. Cruz didn't stand a chance. Wait till trump gets an opportunity to play hardball.

These smears are completely false, they’re offensive to Heidi and me, they’re offensive to our daughters, and they’re offensive to everyone Donald continues to personally attack.

Cruz is a lawyer. He is an expert at making denials that do not really deny anything. In another thread I parsed Cruz's denial about this stuff on facebook. He didn't deny anything, he just kept referring to Trump over and over. Trump has made no allegations about Ted Cruz's adultery. Any time Cruz “denies” something and then ties Trump to it in the same sentence... he is not denying allegations of adultery. The sentence I quoted in my first paragraph is a perfect example. He is denying some nonspecific “smear” from Donald Trump. It is not a denial of his extramarital activities. Do we really want another lying adulterer in the White house?

Adding "YET" to the complete absence of facts does nothing to change that except to create a silly inference that the facts are out there and we just don't know them yet. No facts means only one thing: there are no facts. When and if any facts are reported, there might be a story. Right now. None. Zero. Zilch.

I am still waiting for better evidence, but it looks like of the 5, Cruz likely had an affair with Amanda Carpenter.

She clearly has a crush on him and she is a seriously good looking babe, so maybe. But don't forget about that 500k to Carly, there was a reason for that and reasons offered thus far are very weak.
