It's ridiculous to think Donald Trump leaked the Cruz Enquirer story or had anything to do with leaking it. If he did, the Trump campaign would have been strategic and leaked it to the Enquirer BEFORE the Utah Primary, in reaction to Mitt Romney's GOPe fascism.

I think the timing is perfect because it comes of the heels of Cruz playing to the most fringe holy roller forms of Christianity and co-opting unusual prophecies of Mormonism.

And therefore I agree with you. Cruz’s crud had to leak, so the GOPe tried to force Trump into a fight with Cruz over how Cruz’s Jeff Roe bought the rights to Melania’s GQ photos, and made it seem like he retaliated at the Enquirer.
But really it is to dump Cruz now that Cruz will lose the next primaries to Trump in order to deprive Trump of delegates FOR THE GOPe TO PICK THEIR NOMINEE.

So what does he do he starts that silly fight about his wife.. He knew that GQ was re-releasing her photo’s. So he used that as an excuse to attack Ted Cruz then he used his buddy at National Enquirer to release not a Headline Story but rumors about Ted.. What I don’t understand is why the Mag used Trumps campaign communication directer Katrina Pierson whom came out right away and said this is a bogus story and didn’t happen!!!

I have to agree with you, with one caveat....Trumps supporters are THE most loyal of any candidate EVER! The next primaries are far enough away, so that with the Brussels attacks and probably more to come, Trump can focus on that and still win.
It will be very interesting to observe the content and tone of Glenn Beck’s and Mark Levin’s diatribes over the next week. Both have so linked themselves to Cruz that if there is any truth to these stories, they will jump in lifeboats and paddle furiously away from the wreck to save themselves and their very profitable platforms.
You are not thinking it through clearly because you aren’t recognizing the GOPe problem is larger than the so called “democrat problem” within the Uniparty.
The GOPe cannot have Trump. He is the outsider. Not Cruz. Cruz now has shown his colors as the ultimate GOPe insider.
