Cruz picked up essentially the entire Bush clan into his campaign recently.
Including, I remind you, one Bush (Neil) that managed to rip off the taxpayer for a billion and a half dollars during the S&L crash, and who did it by giving "loans" to his friends that were uncollectable. Look up Silverado Savings and Loan out of Denver. It was one of the big scandals of the time, and that a director, Neil Bush, is now on the Cruz campaign's finance team ought to tell you everything you need to know.
Oh, it didn't stop there either. You might want to look into his connections to Chinese influence peddling within the US Government as well.
Neil is radioactive from his forehead to his little toe, and that Cruz would bed him with a finance position is beyond outrageous and well into the realm of scandalous. He must think we don't remember, but in fact the S&L crisis was the grandfather of the banking-related scams since, both the 2000 tech wreck and the 07/08 housing blowup. All featured making loans to people who had no prayer in hell of paying them back, knowing this when the loan was made, and not giving a damn because you believed you could toss the nuclear financial device to someone else before it exploded in your face.
Of course that all fits, right? China has been ripping us off for decades, as has been Mexico. Trump wants to put a stop to it. Those who think he's dumb and bombastic aren't paying attention; refusing to turn over your hole cards until the other guy goes "all in" and ****s himself with the chainsaw you left on the table isn't dumb, it's the mark of a smart chess player who can think six moves in front of you.
The last few days have seen it come out; Trump has an answer to the Chinese problem in that he has latched onto the real issue: They have open and tariff-free access to our markets but theirs are both tariffed and local-content restricted to our companies. That, in combination with currency manipulation isn't "free trade" it's rape.
The Japanese have been doing the same thing, although most of theirs have been currency-related and "informal" refusals to buy rather than formal tariffs. No matter; neither is free trade.
Oh, and the people understand what he's explaining to them too. How do you think Trump won Michigan? Exactly how many auto workers do you believe have gotten hosed over the years up there?
Yeah.
And now George Soros is into the game. How quaint. Another one-worlder sticks his head up out of the ground and tries to stop Trump from putting a cork in the abuses our nation has suffered at his, Ted's, Bush's and the Mittens hand, as they all swap handshakes (and perhaps some bodily fluids) with Obama and the left.
My, what a coincidence.
Cruz thinks he can call Trump's supporters "low information" and "not engaged."
Oh, to the contrary. Read my book, Ted. Leverage. Low information eh? I think not. I pinpointed the trade and medical monopoly problems a long time ago, and they've been featured on this page since it began publication. Ask those who worked for and with me in the 1990s and you'll hear that I was talking about the same things then -- and oh by the way, so was Trump.
Never mind the national debt. $19 trillion and counting, and when does it stop? According to Ryan and Cathy McMorris-Rodgers, the answer is simple: Never. Well, that's not quite true. It will stop when society collapses under the weight of it, and it shall if they (and you, Ted) all get your way because math is a bitch and doesn't bargain. Oh you can cheat math for a while, but not forever. What's your trick when the knock on the door comes? Start a nuclear war? That'll work out real well.
Speaking of which, there are rumblings that certain pastors think you're "ordained" to be President. You know, kinda of like the 12th Imam that is supposed to return? Yeah, that sort of delusion of grandeur, that one is divinely entitled, is rather dangerous. Some of the worst nuts through history have believed things like that.
Some of them have thought their delusions entitled them to******little kids and murder indiscriminately too. In fact, I've never read of one of those delusional jackasses who didn't engage in something at least that evil, and perhaps worse. You've yet to denounce any of those people Ted..... why not? Is it as simple as wanting their congregation's vote, or something a bit more.... complex and dangerous?
I've already voted in Florida's Primary, so my voice has spoken. Can't change my mind, not that I'd be inclined to. And no, I didn't vote for the man who has locked up his birth records like Obama, refusing to release his CRBA, nor the crook from Cuba.
You're wasting your time insulting me, but if you want to have Mittens make some more robocalls to my house go right ahead. I'll keep 'em on the line and waste your time and money. Near as I can figure, it's just a small favor to my neighbor, who you might not get to as a consequence.
Ted needs to take a Cruz -- right over to taqiyya land where his brand of venomous viper has roamed for more than a thousand years, and probably will for a thousand more. He'll fit right in.
haha, I love when u trumpies do that. I retired 13 years ago at 46.
On welfare and food stamps.
I’m sitting here watching the debate. Good lordy, THIS is the uber fabulous Harvard lawyer?!
They’ve stacked the audience for Cruz and Rubes, BTW.
I am afraid for my country :(
I hate to say it but let me tell u about the auto unions in Michigan, due to automation there are way way more retires and disabled than workers. It is unsustainable.
It is similar to the Northeastern city and rust belt defined pension plans.
Hey, I’m giving you the heads up.
I was persuaded to vote Trump. After reading your post, I’ve decided to switch back to Cruz. (see how ridiculous that sounds?)
not really, but zero interest rates don’t help
u funny
What about the prospect of Cruz as president makes you afraid?
Thank goodness for Trump. Man, what a contrast.
I’m glad they gave him a chance to note that strong and weak leaders are about style rather than being a value judgment.
Glad to see you value style over substance.
Glad to see you value style over substance.
It sounds as though he is listening only until he hears a word he has some prepared speech for, and he just seizes on that and shuts down listening until he spews out his speech, which is generally over the allowed time. That’s not a guy that listens and comprehends what is being said to him. That’s not good.
Just like your guy, you just seized on a word reflexively instead of reading.
Are you aware he’s known to have an audiographic memory? He listens to the totality of what’s being said with the ability to recite it back verbatim. He’s demonstrated this many times. You can probably find confirmation of this if you do a search.
Yes, I did. Please accept my apologies. I now have my reading glasses on. ;)
“Donald is taking advantage of his voters. Donald does well with voters who have relatively low information, who are not engaged, and who are angry, and they see him as an angry voice.”
Ted Cruz
So Ted, you say that I am not engaged and just another low information, angry voter.
Fine.
I guess we will see, then won’t we.
Putting a Bush in charge of Cruz’s finance team says they have him bought and paid for. And “Silverado Neil” is well qualified having already cost the taxpayers $1.5 billion.
Fraudster.
So, what you are saying is that your previous statement about being on the fence was not accurate.
Do you think Cruz hasn’t accomplished anything for the American people?
Are you one of the ‘Cruz is not an NBC’ crowd?
Do you dismiss trump’s previous positions out of hand?
Do you think trump can speak about specifics on... anything?
If you answered Yes to most of the above, you are low information.
Can you list two of Trump’s accomplishments that helped the American people more than they helped Donald trump?
—Things he’s done, not money he’s donated?
I don't think it matters to them whether someone is a citizen or outsider.
What matters is whether they are willing to keep their mouth shut about what the government has to hide. Usually our politicians are willing to keep their mouth shut because they also have something to hide.
They are afraid of someone who has nothing to hide.
Geez... I wish you guys would be more specific, because I can't tell who you are talking about.
I know plenty of people who act exactly the same way, every minute of their life.
