Trump: "I’m changing it, and I’m softening the position" - what is he changing and softening?

He stated this morning that he wasn't talking about H-1B:"Megyn Kelly asked about highly-skilled immigration. The H-1B program is neither high-skilled nor immigration".
So what WAS he talking about? What's his new position and how was his old position different? Will he ever tell us?

Re:”When the DC establishment flip-flop-flips it proves they’re unprincipled con men - when The Donald flip-flop-flips it proves he’s a master tactician. Or something.”

Re”Let’s see, you support the only “Consistent Conservative”. The one who not only voted for, but actually pushed TPA through Congress, the one would happily voted for the corker bill, the one that jumped on the raciest label being pinned on Trump so fast I think I saw sharpton blushing, the one that sides with the likes of mitt, GOPe, goldman sachs and CFG at every opportunity? Keep your “Consistent Conservative”, I’m going with the liberal who will lock down the boarder, deport illegals, reverse cruz’s TPP and treat our military the way they deserve.”
For this he is being attacked by progressives with both -D and -R after their name.
What many either can’t see or won’t see is that the bottom line is that Trump is the only one who would make serious moves to securing our border, abrogating ‘free trade’ that puts the US at a major disadvantage, actually eliminate obamacare and move health care system toward a free market, and treat the military with respect.

Texas is very patriotic, no way they elect a Canadian to represent them in Congress. I understand why you want to speak for Texans - but they spoke for themselves on Super Tuesday by giving Cruz a solid victory in Texas. You'll need to look elsewhere for sock puppets.

and when Cruz flip flops hes a consistent conservativ whos had a revelationThe number of issues on which Cruz has changed is about as small as the number on which Trump hasn't - and with Cruz it's no more than once per issue.

He is mostly correct.
H1B is not permanent immigration. It is only temporary.
H1B can be the lower end of tech skills, but I think it also can be the higher end. Most higher end don’t really want it, though. So he’s technically correct.

why Sessions who has a history of collecting data, presenting well researched reports on the damage of free trade agreement, replacing Americans, and has worked closely with Trump in Immigration is endorsing TrumpI think it's because he sees Trump as the likely winner and reckons an early seat at the table is the best way of moving Sessions' policies forward. Since I won't have a seat at anyone's table, I'll just vote for the imperfect conservative over the pretend conservative.

That is just silly, 40% of only republican voters doesn't not represent all of Texas. There is no way Texes knowingly elects a Canadian citizen as their Senator. cruz knew that and that is why he did not tell Texas he was a Canadian when he ran for the Senate. Then there was the blatant lie that he did not know he was a Canadian citizen until 2014. Please! how stupid does he think Americans are, not withstanding you.

All of them
So he was right both before and after he changed it and softened the position? Just wow.

Go to his announcement speech and youll hear it right there. So he is changing the website. So, if I understand you right, Mr Trump had one position last June, his website claimed he had a different position for several months, then he is changing back to his original position now.
And this is helpful how? Sounds like a flip-flop-flip to me.

OMG. A dozen cancer researchers?
I’ve decided to post only positive things about the Donald.
He is wonderful today, he’ll be wonderful tomorrow ... although a different kind of wonderful and he was a very different kind of wonderful yesterday.

Ooops. So you believe that Trump was ‘trying to say’ something?
Why does he have to try?
Does he have to try and remember all the things he’s said before before he can say.
Why doesn’t he just say.

“Were living in a post-policy world now, folks.”
Post-policy? Spoken like a true beltway wonk. What is magical about “policy”?
