why Sessions who has a history of collecting data, presenting well researched reports on the damage of free trade agreement, replacing Americans, and has worked closely with Trump in Immigration is endorsing Trump

I think it's because he sees Trump as the likely winner and reckons an early seat at the table is the best way of moving Sessions' policies forward. Since I won't have a seat at anyone's table, I'll just vote for the imperfect conservative over the pretend conservative.
