Now Donald Trump is launching a birther attack against Marco Rubio

Donald Trump, the mercurial businessman who is running for president, has been given to saying alarming, crazy things. He has gone birther on President Barack Obama, suggesting that he was really born in Kenya. He has claimed that one of his chief political rivals, Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas is ineligible to be president for having been born in Canada, albeit by an American mother. He has accused former President George W. Bush, brother of Jeb Bush, of lying about WMDs in Iraq and of knowing about the 9/11 attacks in advance. Trump is now turning his full, crazed birther attack on Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Florida, according to the Huffington Post.

“Nice side-step. Tells me all I need to know....”

Did Trump send out a Tweet this morning telling you what you need to know?

“You’re delusional. TDS is festering fyi.”

No, I’ve just met the man in a business setting, four times.

Each time he tried to fleece me trying to get us to buy his junk debt. Each time I sent him packing and was much better off having done so.

He promised riches and great things.

He was paying far too much for his properties, had no plan on paying off the debt, and no ability to do so.

His entire business model was to “pump and dump” and was shocked and offended by those whose business model is to actually build quality goods and services and have long term relationships.

I saw through his B.S. then, and see through it now.

I don’t like con men, and I don’t like what he is doing to good people like you.

I bet you are looking forward to choosing between the GOPee and the carnival barker.

What about his parents?

Grandfather is illegal and Rubio's parents are being referred to as "refugees". They were not, under any circumstances American citizens.

Rubio is the epitome of an anchor baby.

Although this does sound like the plot of Pretty Woman, I’m not buying.

Your anchor baby comment is all the prof I need to know Trump supporters aren’t deep thinkers. Anchor babies refers to children of illegal aliens.

According to the Oxford Dictionary,

Anchor baby - Used to refer to a child born to a noncitizen mother in a country which has birthright citizenship, especially when viewed as providing an advantage to family members seeking to secure citizenship or legal residency.

This definition does not mention legality of entry nor county of birth.

You instinctively jumped to Cruz' mother's American citizenship, but if you thought just a little bit deeper you would have realized that the remark was made in reference to Canadian citizenship, not American citizenship.

Cruz fits the Oxford Dictionary definition of anchor baby in Canada just as Rubio fits the definition of anchor baby in the United States.

I’ve got to go with whomever the Republican candidate will be. To vote for a Democrat is suicide hari kari style!

I don’t think Turnip tried to whore out any of his people, if that is what you are saying.

I saw NO evidence of that, at all, and don’t mean to imply that in the least.

That IS a Jerry Jones move — a man I also put in the category of Trump regarding honesty, except he actually makes money for his investors, so I will do business with him, at a distance.

Turnip’s move is to promise great riches and wine and dine. Big generalities and investment models with impossible assumptions.

Big flash at meetings and fly on jets.

I think it mainly works on investment bankers who are not investing their own money, but also pump and dump junk at the next level. Mini-me Turnips, in other words.

We invest our own money and are more impressed with results.

Honestly, it depends on Cuba's interpretation of Rubio's parents' allegiance to Castro. At the time of Rubio's birth, his parents were here for jobs, working in hotels.

From Wikipedia:

In October 2011, newspapers reported that Rubio's previous statements that his parents were forced to leave Cuba in 1959, after Fidel Castro came to power, were embellishments. His parents actually left Cuba in 1956, during the dictatorship of Fulgencio Batista. According to The Washington Post, many voters in Florida would be less impressed by his family being economic migrants instead of political refugees from a communist regime. Rubio responded, saying: "The essence of my family story is why they came to America in the first place, and why they had to stay."

So Rubio's parents were not political refugees, suggesting that Cuba would not have revoked his parents' right to descend citizenship. That isn't to say that Cuba didn't do this later when Rubio became an American politician.

It may simply be a case similar to Cruz' of Rubio not knowing of a Cuban citizenship, if there was one.

I have two different thoughts on this.

If I vote for the next RINO/GOPee/Charlatan from Wherever, I won't be able to wash the sh*t off my hands in the next 4 years, but I would have once again been a character in the great Kabuki that takes us another, albeit perhaps smaller, step toward totalitarianism than letting the Communist/Socialist/blatant totalitarian win.

If I vote for a Democrat, maybe we can get CW II over with before I'm too damned old to hump a ruck and shoot straight, provided all the keyboard commandos out there don't pussy out.

I think America is screwing up so far, and not voting for the Conservative with the track record, but then I can't account for the amazing level of cognitive dissonance among people I once thought to be conservative in their leanings.

Trump is not bernie madoff.
The tax payers have been fleeced as bad, however. Sounds like Trump steered you in a better direction. My guess is he didn’t feel it.

I predict Trump will tie it to Rubio’s plan to allow amnesty and highlight the differences between Trump’s approach and Rubio’s approach on immigration.

“Trump is not bernie madoff.”

Correct.

Bernie was about affiliate fraud, conning a close-knit and trusting community. It was slow and the opposite of flashy, but just as dishonest. He pretended to be exclusive and secretive. You had to fight to get to be part of the con.

Trump’s model is, as noted, the “pump and dump,” which relies on flash and the bandwagon effect and generally only works with strangers.

Given Trump fleeced his bond investors all four times, loosing billions, I’d say MWT dodged a bullet.

Two cons, different approaches.

I doubt if Trump was invited to Scalia’s funeral. What... do people just show up at a SCOTUS funeral as if it were Uncle Fudge from down the road a piece? Sheesh.

The talking heads still don't get it. In large part, America has figured it out. For the last quarter of a century, WE the Republic, have been denied the choice to say NO to socialism.

It has been a setup. The fix was always in. We, the Republic, have been loosing a war of financial attrition for decades. We, the Republic are engaged in a war with those who govern us. Drastic measures are required to defeat this enemy in order to stop the bleeding that each of us are seeing in the depreciation of our savings, the constant onslaught of taxes, fees, and licenses. Each of them designed to remove our ability to live free.

If a slave is a person who works for no money, then a paid person who works with no money left for savings or investment is therefore a slave.

The Communists are very good at planning each move, they have been at it for over sixty years, to bury us. They are so close to succeeding.

Trump has stepped in and has sensed our rage.We want to throw our shoes into the machinery. We want to turn over the apple carts and toss tea into the harbor. Trump is giving us a voice. He is giving our children and grandchildren a fighting chance of enjoying the life that our parents fought and spilled blood in Europe and Japan so as to impart liberty to ourselves.

No, we will no longer hide in the shadow of political correctness.

No, we will no longer stand idle in the face of the globalist Red Menace.

No, we will not play the game of choosing which Socialist will rob our children.

No, we will not play the game of choosing which Socialist will import an army of decapitating, lawless, savages into our home to eradicate Freedom and the American Way.

ANY and EVERY politician who will not build a wall is declaring he/she DOES NOT CARE IF YOU DIE!

I do not think Trump is a conservative.

I do not think Trump is morally pious and pure.

I do not think Trump is void of indiscretions or mistakes.

I do believe that any candidate that is a true conservative, morally pure, pious, and has walked the straight and narrow...would not stand a chance against the the globalist red menace that is systematically deconstructing our nation.

No, far from it.

Right now we need our own paladin of chaotic malice with a depraved sense of overly vengeful justice that will stand not for giving quarter. Right now we need our own Son of a Bitch glorious bastard, faults and all. We need to stomp out the treachery of political correctness that perpetuates racial discontent and has created Europe-istan, a Nuclear Iran, as well as ushering in a new world order of penniless servitude consisting of the entire earthly population bowing to but a few of the elite socialist megalomaniacs.

We need our own monster.

Ted Cruz may well be as advertised. No one knows. Four years ago, no one knew who he was.

He is young, deploy the Trump Bomb now, it is an ugly weapon of mass destruction that will result in some collateral damage, but it is required.

Alas, we have run out of time.

It will take many Ted Cruz clones to restore order in the aftermath.
