Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump on Monday told a town hall attendee that he had no qualms about telling the children of Syrian refugees that they can't come to the United States.
A man at the campaign event in Salem, New Hampshire asked Trump if he could look the children in their faces and tell them they wouldn't be able to come to America.
"I can look at their faces and say you can't come," Trump replied. "We don't know where their parents come from. They have no documentation."
Trump has previously said that he thinks accepting Syrian refugees into the U.S. poses security risks. He also has called for a ban on Muslims entering the country.
The only one with enough guts to speak the unspoken truth we all believe.
My standard answer to this:
That guy played the “children” card to show Trump as heartless. Trump said he’d build safe zones, would take care of refugees just in their own country.
Meanwhile, San Bernardino couple abandoned their 6 month old baby to go on a killing rampage. What kind of parent does that?
Terrorists, that’s who does that. Kids don’t exclude terror.
will give him credit where it’s due.
this comment and Ted calling women in the draft “nuts”.
two best quotes of the day.
Good!!!!
Poor people in Flint, Michigan want to get out and have no place to go....women, children, and old people....real refugees... And in the meantime, healthy, young Syrians get placed in communities that don’t need them but Americans have to underwrite their presence anyway. Whereas the people of Flint...American citizens with no place to go. Pathetic.
SOME people get it!

C’mon Donald, at least given them teddy bears and soccer balls while you’re doing it.
How can anybody be against this guy? It doesn’t make sense.
This is it! Trump’s poll numbers will tank now I tell ya!
I saw this LIVE this morning....
....and Trump was quite Presidential
He was taking questions fron the audience and this man....I think he was a Hillary plant.....tried to do the ‘heartstring’ appeal with Trump....as in ‘how can you deny little chilren from Syria coming into our school in Greenwich, Connecticut’’ and he made it seem the families or children were already here and standing by the school door
Trump quietly and authoritively said
‘Are they here’
The man admitted ...No
Trump said.....’Yes, I could look them in the eye and deny them’
...and then he expanded on it.
It really is better if you can find the link.....Salem, New Hampshire 2/8/16
Thanks for posting 2DV.
The civilized countries in the world neither have the space nor the resources to take them all in. Particularly when 80% or more are military age men who leave the women and children behind to deal with whatever it is that they are fleeing.
Sadly “for the children” is never applied by liberals to the millions of murdered unborn children that PP kills.
Syrian "children"
It is way past time for America to take the really kind and charitable and even more productive approach to the poor all over the world who want to come here.
Trump is so right, as is Carson, when they say build safe zones in other, closer countries.
The Churches should do more missionary work, helping other countries to understand the Judeo Christian spirit of the West which built this Country.
America can send more Peace Corp type people to help also.
Those foreigners who take advantage of our educational system should be required to go back to their own countries and help their own.
We need to think about American children just as much as foreign children.
Such policies would help lift other people out of poverty and violence without destroying America at the same time.
Trump needs to SHUT THE HELL UP on these issues.
...otherwise he just may win.
indeed
