Doesn’t it bother you that Donald Trump has no conservative record to stand on, and that the lifelong record he does have consists of crony-capitalism, paying off corrupt politicians, donating to the Clinton Foundation, giving money to Reid and Pelosi, and advocating for socialist health care?

I see where you are coming from. But if enhanced interrogation techniques become widespread at the line officer level, it is only a matter of time before it backfires on us. I want the president to have the option, but I want its use carefully controlled and kept out of the news as much as possible.

I agree. I think his best moment came when he was asked how he would respond to the firing of a missile by North Korea shortly before the debate began, an event that no one on the stage could have known about until that moment. I think it was intended as a gotcha question, with the hope that Cruz, not knowing that this had taken place, would fumble around for an answer. If so, it didn't work. Cruz handled it brilliantly, saying he would need to be briefed on the specific incident before deciding on the appropriate course of action, then went into great detail about steps he would take to reign in North Korea and other rogue nations.
This is what I have been saying all along but nobody seems to be listening.
Wasn’t that Ted’s position? And I’m only talking about water boarding ... not any just any ‘enhanced’ techniques because waterboarding has been thoroughly test and it causes terror but no permanent bodily harm.

Yes, I’m saying I pretty much agree with Ted’s position on waterboarding. I don’t think waterboarding should be widely used in the field.
