Hello folks. Taxcontrol here and I am taking over the Brewer/Vintner ping list from Red_Devil 232. The list is for all that work with yeast to produce alcohol. So Beer, Wine, Mead, Spirits, even fuel producers are all welcome.
So some questions:
- I am going to assume that you want to be on the list unless you tell me otherwise
- How often is an approprite regularly scheduled ping to the list (any time a relevant article is posted, weekly, bi weekly, monthly)?
- How often should we cover recipes and when? Friday perhaps?
- any other thoughts or recommendations?
We are back!
Everyone take a look. If you want to REMAIN on the list. I dont need you to do anything. If you want OFF the list, let me know and I will remove you.
If you have any ideas, send them to me.
Please add me to the ping list!
Please add me to you ping.
I’d love to be included!
Heck, Spring training hasn’t even begun yet!
Please add me. I have my very first batch in a secondary fermenter now.
Please add me. Thanks!
Do you need to check my ID?
I can’t remember if Logitech is on your ping list or not. If not, here’s a ping to Logitech.
Count me in. As soon as I can sell my house, (and my wife will let me) I plan on upgrading my brewing to include a brew sculpture. Still brewing with kits and bottling. Not good enough yet to do all grain and kegging ;(
I would suggest just once a month for recipes & chit-chat about what we’re doing. Then anytime there’s a good article related to the topic, send a ping out for folks to read.
Making wine & beer is a fairly slow process, so once a week is too often. That may have been why folks lost interest with the first one.
JMHO.
You might want to check at your local brewery (seems like they are everywhere now) to see if they'll give you a hand working through an all grain recipe. Many of the ones local to me are more than willing to have locals set up their mash at the same time they're brewing and give them a hand.
(Remember, almost all of these breweries started as home brewers too.)
Please add me to the ping list.
On the periphery...
I hold the Bourbon Ping list.
Anyone want on, FR-email me, DON’T ask through this thread...
I want in !! Ping away
Hey!?!
Ain’t that the penguin?
You don’t have to be an expert to start kegging. Trust me, once you start kegging you won’t go back to bottling.
Brew on!
How much does to get all the stuff I need to make good beer the first time?
Put me, hiccup, on the list, hiccup.
