You've heard the speculation. But what if it really happens? What do We collectively or individually do if Obama invokes martial law under some pretext? What if he orders American military forces to fire upon American citizens? Is there no chance this will happen? Or is there every chance this will happen?

You think the entire officer corps would give commands? Not just the lackey appointment level officials, but actual unit commanders?
You think the average enlisted soldier is willing to shoot fellow citizens because Obama says so?

I wonder who Trump will pick for his V.P. If it turns out to be some establishment figure, why couldn’t both parties concoct some reason to impeach Trump and get rid of him that way? That seems about as likely as cancelling the election.

But here's what does worry me. Back in 1972 George Wallace was running an outsider, populist campaign. And then he got shot.
If he declares Martial law for no good reason or an obviously manufactured reason the military would take him out.

There is no pretext short of a nuke attack that would enable him to make such a pronouncement.
