You really think the military would obey?
You think the entire officer corps would give commands? Not just the lackey appointment level officials, but actual unit commanders?
You think the average enlisted soldier is willing to shoot fellow citizens because Obama says so?
Obama’s power is broken, and he’s flailing around trying to ram through as much possible until he’s a complete laughingstock.
Yes because I know people in the military that don’t trust half their fellows. They are screaming Obama supporters. And the people I know, just regular grunts, think the Obamabots will follow any shoot to kill order.
Then you have to ask yourself why Barry purged the officer corps and replaced them with his own people.
Yea, the military isn’t going to save us. Some will try. But overall, no.

I am an Air Force Academy grad, class of 1973.
Back then it was pounded into our heads that the military would NEVER be used against our own people.
But that was then and this is now.
Back then the military would NEVER have been practicing on American soil to put down an American insurgency. Would NEVER have been practicing covert tactics to take out high value American targets at night on American soil. Jade Helm and similar exercises did ALL of that.
Under Obama HUNDREDS of officers have been removed, most for bogus reasons. The REAL reason was suspicion that they might NOT follow orders if given questionable orders from Obama.
So... What about the officers that are left? Some of them (but not all) would follow orders to impose martial law. Obama knows who they are, and they are the ones who would receive those orders.
The REAL questions are how many of the soldiers under their command would also follow those orders, and would the troops who were ordered to simply stand down rise up against them.
Final comment: It would not take a lot of them at first. Only enough to secure Washington DC. Once the situation seemed stable they would expand from there. Few people would risk standing against what seemed to be a fait accompli.
Do I think this will actually happen? I hope not, but history is full of despots who have done exactly this in order to take dictatorial control of their country. Obama will certainly try if he thinks he can pull it off.
Obama has eviscerated our Officer Corps and Non-commissioned officers. It is possible that those Officers and nco’s might obey Obama’s orders. But that would be a stretch. Obama would have to stage a national wide terrorist attack to justify martial law. I don’t think he could accomplish a coups of this magnitude.
History has shown us that in most cases where Soliders are given orders to kill or otherwise attack the civilian population they are supposed to be serving, they end up siding with the civilian population.
Obviously there are exceptions, such as the Tianemen Square Massacre, but those were hard core communist officers and soldiers doing the killing.
I honestly do not see red blooded American Soldiers killing us all across the Country.
Your’s is my thought. It’s the only logical conclusion at the moment.
