Tensions at Yale University hit a boiling point yesterday after an email about Halloween costumes created a week-long controversy on campus.
Students called for the resignation of Associate Master of Silliman College Erika Christakis after she responded to an email from the school’s Intercultural Affairs Council asking students to be thoughtful about the cultural implications of their Halloween costumes. According to The Washington Post, students are also calling for the resignation of her husband, Master of Silliman College, Nicholas Christakis, who defended her statement.

Oh for crying out loud! The left has turned and is continuing to turn this nation into a pile of sh**. Who the hell gets offended over freaking costumes anyways? Apparently the pot smoking, wussy leftists that populate our supposed institutions of higher learning. We are so screwed as a nation.
It was the sensitivity training they got in their public school education - thanks to the amoral critical thinking skills taught over the last couple of decades.
It is group therapy which inculcates amorality and numerous other unpleasantries.
We are witnessing its results.
Hmmmm....Can you say hostile work environment? I hope Nicholas Christakis can sue both Yale and every person who has signed this petition.
As much as I luv to see Libs eat their own (and I’m sure Christakis and her husband are world class libs), this is a really dangerous trend. Does not sound like the Yale President has the backbone to put a stop it.
Those faculty who signed this petition better be careful: they could easily be next.
By 1935 (or so) Stalin had ‘purged’ EVERY SINGLE ORIGINAL BOLSHEVIK, the people that had brought the Communists to power. Without a doubt, the LAST THING those die-hard Bolsheviks thought was they would be the ones taking one-way trips to Siberia...but it was so.
So it’s difficult for me to get all teared-up when the monster of PC that these professors unleashed on this country (and other Western countries) is now coming after them, looking for blood.
I thought Halloween was for the little kids, not college students.
I also saw a colleged age kid dressed as Batman in his customized dune buggy Batmobile driving up and down public thoroughfares last week - pointed ears up and cape flying in the wind. Must have been living his fantasy. Hope he gets it out of his system by the time he has to find a real job and support himself without mom and dad’s help.
It’s Political Correctness doing what it was designed to do.

Dear Offended Students,
Yale received approximately 27000 applications for admission to the Class of 2017. 2000 applicants were admitted. There are 25000 rejected applicants ready to take your pathetic places in this Ivy League University. We really will not miss you.
There are 2473 other 4 year colleges in the United States and chances are good that you can find one suitable to your sensitive feeling. Feel free to apply to any of them or not. We the management and faculty at Yale really do not have any empathy for you sensitivities. We are here to educate you.
We do suggest that you enlist in the US Army or Marine Corp so that you can toughen you easily offended sensitivities with some real world experience before resuming your college career. Or go back to your Mother and have her sooth your offended feeling because your Drill Sergeant will not.
The choice is yours. You wanted to come here for your higher education. We have no time for spoiled brats and your temper tantrums.

Notice the intellectual dishonesty from the left.
They complain about ‘oppressed peoples’ and other moral judgment language, yet deny God.
If it’s all about power and force, what’s the basis of their criticism? It’s just a manipulative power grab under the guise of a moral judgment.
Somebody got their feelers hurt so they have demanded somebody resign. Life in America, 2015.
For example, if you are an 8 year old Swedish girl and you get gang-raped by 10 “refugees”, your feelings don’t amount to a hill of beans.
But if you are an illegal mexican immigrant, going to a university at tax payer expense, and someone wears a sombrero as part of a halloween costume, OMG! OMG! OMG! call out the friggin Political Police and start executing people to protect those “feelings”!!!
The leftists prefer to have their people thinking through their feelings, which can have negative consequences, like being unable to think rationally when it would really come in handy.
So lefties took over the campus, and instituted all kinds of new orthodoxies, such as micro-aggressions, rape culture, LBGTQWXYZ
And now the little red guards they spawned are turning on them.
