So, looks whose on the warpath. Ben Carson. Not so fuzzy and ho-hum at the moment, eh?
So, if Carson's offensive persists, do you foresee this "gotcha" Politico story as helping to boost his campaign??

Didn’t his campaign already admit his West Point story was a lie?
Of course, Carson’s support for amnesty, gun control, his alignment with Sharpton, his pyramid lunacy, I guess none of that matters either.
How does Carson admitting that he lied about getting a scholarship to West Point help him?

I believe Carson never said he applied for admission, thought about it and turned it down. If one read the story one would know. Not that I read it, but FReepers who did read the entire story said the part about Carson applying was a lie, does not match his books which said he thought about it and decided against it.

I’m referring to the Politico story and hearing Carson’s reactions in the CNN interview.
He was pretty aggressive and did not sound mild and passive. I’m wondering, if he continues on the attack, whether he will actually see a boost in his campaign numbers.
I mis-titled the vanity, I guess. This thread wasn’t intended to discuss whether or not it was a lie.

You don’t get a scholarship to WP. You get an appointment by a Congress Critter. Oh yeh, the education is paid for by the Gov but you also owe them 5 years service in return.
