Ben Carson now leading in NC, Oklahoma, Texas, Iowa, Wisconsin
The American Thinker ^ | October 6, 2015 | Ed Straker

.........[Ben Carson] is leading in North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, Wisconsin, and Iowa. That's impressive. It's well-known that he's doing well with religious conservatives in Iowa, but now it looks as though he has appeal throughout the South and other Midwestern states.

[SNIP]

What can Trump do to rebound? He has tried casting doubt on Carson's religion. He has tried having plenty of book signings. In an interview recently he said he was going to replace Obamacare with "something much better." Who wouldn't want to vote for someone who is going to institute a "something much better" health care system? He also promises to "quickly and brutally cut the head off of ISIS." I'm for cutting the head off ISIS. Let the head-cutting begin!

Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be enough for voters. His tax plan has higher rates than other tax plans, like Ted Cruz's flat tax.

I'm not a big Ben Carson fan. I don't think he has the experience to be an executive or the temperament to take on Hillary. Trump might be able to at least do the latter. So what can Trump do to improve his position in the polls?

1) Talk about the insanity of "transgenderism" - letting boys into girls' locker rooms.

2) Give more detail on his vague immigration plan of letting the "good ones" come back after they are deported. How many "good ones" are there? Millions?

3) Speak out about the need for voter ID to protect the integrity of the voting process.

4) Pledge to end birthright citizenship by executive order on the first day of his presidency.

5) Tell us what he would replace Obamacare with. I suspect he himself does not know.

What else do you think he can do to help himself?

Details!?

We don't need no stinkin' details.

This is a big fat reality TV show - munch some popcorn, put up your feet, just relax and enjoy, Donald has it covered.

It's the art of the deal, don'tcha know.

Oh, I’m sure that you will just pimp Carson until he’s at 2% in the polls and drops out like Walker did.

That was some fine work on your part.

“Everything will be so much better! I will have fabulous people working for me! Look at my poll numbers! Trust me, I will make everything so very much better, you won’t believe it!”

Well at least Trump doesn’t want to get rid of Medicare, only allow people living in extremely small, desolate areas to have guns, nor wants every store, school, public buildings to have “transgender” bathrooms....as Dr. Ben does.

I am certainly not in favor of either Carson or Trump. Cruz is the candidate I agree with on just about everything.

Oh God, you’re back with your constant bash Trump articles. YOu never give up, do you? This article doesn’t name one polling group. Let’s see - Carson dropped drastically after the last debate in the polls, and now, suddenly he’s ahead in all these polls? Shades of Conway vs. Bevin in Kentucky.

I have not met one person who is going to vote for him, they all laugh when ask them why, so someone somewhere is playing with the numbers.

Racial-token amnesty-shill Carson is a non-starter for patriots.

If he were white he would be under 1 percent in the polls.

I believe the quote you were looking for is “you will just pimp Carson” as opposed to what you thought you read and then quoted as if I wrote it.

I want both Trump and Cruz on the same ticket. That would insure a Cruz presidency, giving us 12 or 16 years of what this nation needs to survive.

I simply can NOT understand why anyone would be for Carson; especially since he claims that he has "the same goals as Al Sharpton" and his chief adviser is VERY pro the NOI and Screwy Farrakhan...not to mention the stuff I put in my first post.

Oh God, you're back with your constant bash Trump articles.

Such hyperbole!

I'm observing and commenting on the lay of the land - the fall and decline of political correctness - that Jeffery Lord and Rush Limbaugh are doing non-stop.

The question is, who will sit in the White House when this "show" is over?

Most likely, Donald Trump.

I conducted my own poll - the catsrus poll, and out of 100 people only 2 said they were voting for someone other than Trump. One for Cruz and one for Huckabee. The other 98 are solidly Trump - here in Ohio. Disclosure: I live in a solid red county, but remember, there are 15 candidates, and those polled were likely Rebpulican voters, with one Democrat in the mix. So, will RCP use my poll? /LOL

Who will it be?

Trump?

Carson?

Jeb!?

Hillary!?

It’s such a “nail biter!”

http://www.redstate.com/2015/11/05/marco-rubio-gets-thrown-briar-patch/

“....[Rubio’s] essentially being attacked by three of the most privileged rich people in America- and not only that, but rich people who gained their riches based primarily on the labors of others - for being middle class. When Trump and Jeb and Hillary sneer about Rubio having to raid his retirement account, you can almost hear the pinky finger in the air from the tone of their voice as they sniff haughtily about the impropriety of a commoner aspiring to the Presidency.

In modern America, Sen. Marco Rubio could scarcely hope for enemies like this, or for them to attack him using specifically this angle. I am willing to bet that if he could have, he would have paid Trump, Jeb, and Hillary to do it. Instead, because they are all tone deaf and not very politically astute, they are doing it for him, for free.

Sen. Marco Rubio’s been thrown in the briar patch, and boy is he in trouble now.

Why hasn’t Trump hit the somnambulent doctor on his outrageous lies regarding his multi-million dollar relationship with Mannatech? On his horrific positions on immigration and guns? Ont he fact that Carson’s entire “campaign” is a fundraising sham that had made tens of millions of shysters like John Phillip Sousa IV?
