I haven't done a quick vanity screed in ages, not as a singluar post, but something set me off today.
Donald Trump claims now that he will close some mosques in the United States if they are ISIL related.
"Varney asked Trump if he agreed with British Prime Minister David Camerons recent proposal to close mosques if a worshiper is linked to ISIS. Trump responded unequivocally, Absolutely, I think its great. Varney, apparently taken aback by Trumps flippant response to depriving Americans of their constitutional rights, followed up incredulously, Can you close a mosque? Adding, We do have religious freedom. Trump then gave us this gem: It depends. If the mosque is, you know, loaded for bear. Loaded for bear?! Is that a term I missed in law school about when its OK to violate Americans constitutional rights?? from: http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2015/10/22/now-trump-says-i-ll-close-mosques.html
Apparently no one cares, regardless of what he says.
Let's see if the little liberal kid answers your question, bramps.
Exactly. Trump never blamed her. When will people learn to accept the consequences of their actions?
Eat nuts, the rest of the candidates suck
what a completely unrelated thing to say....
Anyways, here is what I think of the unconnected people who support Trump, and why I think they do. I said this in a private message to someone in response to this thread, maybe I’ll expand on it:
as a fumbling Christian who (shamefully) publicly backslid twice while on FR for 3 years each time...
I can say
This is about the flesh. men see a successful man with a hot wife who poses for lesbian soft porn and they want to be the piece of cheese in the middle
women see a successful man who has ZERO ex wives speaking bad about him, in fact, they are speaking well, and they are beautiful and doing well
he appeals to the flesh
he is an alpha male (wit the babes and the money)
that is NOT what a good leader is made of, that is what sinful men want to be like, but sinful men will not follow you into the fire for that, they will watch you burn
men will follow a man who does it with them, ugly, scarred men with ugly wives who they obviously love and kids who pick their nose but act respectfully to mom and dad
and say, Follow me, instead of, Go get em!
I am adding here:
Real men might tell you to not to draw the cartoon, but they KNOW that pulling out a machine Gun is much worse and also proves the point you’re making, that without free speech, Islam will use violence to SILENCE you into submission.
So, Dhimmis who claim their defense of Trump is rational in this case, When is your wife’s Burkha fitting at the local mosque? Keep your mouth shut, you dont want to get hurt! And whatever you do, dont join in with those crazy people who are warning you that it is an ISLAMIC Invasion, and NOT Immigration in Europe!
Those people saying that must be just crazy...Right Trumpets?
Or is it Strumpets?
now I know you’re from DU

CNN Airs Tiny Blurb at Bottom of Screen During Benghazi Testimony that Reads Palestinians Shot Boarding Kids Bus
TRUMP SAYS, “IF ONLY THOSE KIDS TOOK THE TRAIN, THEY WOULD HAVE BEEN SAFE!”
>>so, she deserved to be MURDERED??
and the 150 people there at the event, they all deserved to be MURDERED for drawing a cartoon??<<<
That is not what “theoldmarine” said. He disagrees with you and you accuse him of condoning Murder? Calm down FRiend.
He's always come across "unstable" because he isn't grounded in conservatism. He is saying what he thinks conservatives want to hear, and if you are trying to become something you aren't it will eventually seem schizophrenic policy wise.
He huts himself with pointless rage tweets against people like Megyn Kelly who, like her or not, gives conservatives more airtime on her show (and with issues often framed in a conservative way) than almost any other major media host out there. For him to have little rants about her will eventually make people wonder about his temperament for the office of President. I think he hurt himself even more with the quasi truther stuff he pulled out of the hat the other week. Again, like GW Bush or not (and he was certainly not much of a conservative), most people on the right think he dealt with 9-11 pretty well. Trump seemed to be echoing a bunch of paulbot, InfoWars, Michael Moore truther garbage and I think that might account for his drop in the polls in Iowa.
I jumped no shark
re read it
I just say, they cant do something else? They have to be in the middle of Texas....drawing cartoons?
Trump says they can do other things. Some people think drawing cartoons is a great idea. I like Trump's approach better. Shut down the terrorist mosques. He can start with Islamberg in Hancock NY.
No need.
I read theoldmarine’s Post and I quoted the Remark from your Post in reply to his statement.
Disagreement does not warrant such accusations IMHO.
You disagree, so be it. I don’t have a Dog in the Hunt, but I know inappropriate when I see it.
“””If we give islam the land to make a mosque, there will be peace. “””
Do you truly believe that?
Who do u suggest we vote for? ...not a trick question. I am a Trump supporter but I listen to all viewpoints on FR
You’re spot on, RaceBannon. IMO, Trump is a narcissistic loose cannon. We’ve just experienced 7 years under a narcissistic loose cannon and look where we are today. No thanks.
I dont believe that, if that is a copy and paste of my post below, it was meant to be a sarcastic quote of a leftist, of what they believe, especially concerning the Ground Zero mosque
Flame away, but I don’t see the disconnect.
It is possible to believe that it would be legal and necessary to close a mosque that is actively inciting violence and jihad, and still believe that Pam was intentionally poking the bear.
Both can be true. And in many minds both will be true.
Pam was taking risk. She knew it, and she believed the risk was worth making the point about free speech, freedom of religion, and the ridiculousness of the anger shown to those who ‘insult’ Mohammed.
Believing that her actions were unwise does not mean that one must or should ignore a situation where specific evidence is available that an individual mosque is organizationally promoting violence and jihad.
Just another politician.
Uh.. weren't the perps shot and killed right there?
Wasn't that justice? If not, what would you call it?
