We are now here in the great state of Texas. We have left behind that state that had me shaking my head incessantly. Of course, if we want to remember what it was like in good ol' Cali, we can take a ride into Austin. Maybe not.
Yep, my new neighbors are from Illinois. The husband said, I guess we’re Texans now.” I replied, “Not exactly.”
Welcome!
Oklahoma sucks.
You know why the corn north of the Red River leans south, right?
Texas sucks.
Where did you live?
I can always count on you.
Well Done! Born Texan and came west for N. Cali 11 years ago...love the weather, butt the ignorance out here is getting to me.
Ignorance and Entitlement Mentality to boot AND these drones have NEVER met a tax they didn’t LIKE and vote for.
Science? These people wouldn’t understand cause and effect even after biting the hand that feeds them. Knee-jerk progs all of ‘em
Unintended Liberal Consequences are the bane of our great country and out here in the West, the lemmings can’t swim so this is where they ended up.
Keep the lights on there, i’ll Be BACK!
Ha!!
LOL!!
Welcome! Go get your chl :)
Let’s just make it clear, to our new neighbors here.
Cali really sucks.
Just saying.
Best Filet Mignon, baked potatoe and beans or greens..you ever might had.
Good for you. Don’t forget to change you address with Social Security, register to vote, get auto insurance that’s valid in Texas, get your vehicles inspected, tagged and licensed in Texas and your sort of good to go.
Just went through all of this with my oldest grandson who moved to the Texas panhandle from another state.
Oh and put the Texas State Fair on your bucket list to attend. Might want to pick a weekend other than the one when UT plays OU at the Cotton Bowl though - unless you want to know 1000 things you can wear with cowboy boots!
Welcome to Texas.
Congrats uscga77 ((((hugs))))
Not that I’d give a damn what born and bred Texans might consider me (and no offense to Texans, I don’t give a hoot what anyone anywhere considers me). Here’s a dose of actual reality — being a legal resident of Texas renders one a Texan.
Yep!!
Austin is odd. Just sayin’
You said...”hoot”...you’re a Texan!!
I lived the The bay area for 6 years during the early 80’s....liked some things...hated others.....happy to be back in NW Ohio.
Welcome to your new home! :)
Sparks Steakhouse here in NY is supposed to be pretty good. Gambino boss Paul Castellano loved the place.
