Rush Limbaugh: Media Hyping Carly Fiorina in Order to get rid of Donald Trump

Here’s conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh’s take on why Republican presidential candidate Carly Fiorina is doing so well at the moment…

Rush Limbaugh said on his radio program Friday that he believes the mainstream media is “hyping” Carly Fiorina in an attempt to “get rid” of Republican frontrunner Donald Trump.

Limbaugh offered the theory after a listener called into his program complaining that the former Hewlett-Packard CEO is “evil” and will do “anything she can to get ahead.” The listener contended Fiorina is a “political insider” and asked “why the media keeps hiding everything on her.”

“Because they want to get rid of Trump,” Limbaugh replied, according to a transcript on his website. “It’s not that they like her. This is the mistake people are making. It’s not that they like Fiorina. They never liked McCain. They just made him think they did and everybody else. They don’t like any Republican.”

Limbaugh went on to note that the media chooses “our nominees for us” by “making us think they like them.”

What do you make of “El Rushbo’s” comments?

I think it makes sense, even though Carly more than held her own during the second primetime debate.

The man with the nicotine stained fingers is usually spot on with what he has to say, and I definitely wouldn’t ever want to get into an argument over politics with the guy, because I’m sure he’s forgotten more than I’ll ever know.

Many on the right (and obviously on the left) would love for the summer of Trump to end sooner rather than later, so hyping Fiorina (the lone woman amongst a crowded GOP field full of men) fits the bill.

“They got after me the morning after for remembering that the Planned Parenthood videos did NOT show a baby on the table having its face cut open to harvest its brain. It did have one of the participants talk about that act, but it did not show that act. Which is what Fiorina said it showed for purposes of emotional impact. I think she could have gotten the same impact by wording her comments accurately. Now she’s assisted in giving the media a talking point about the videos being a misrepresentation.”

You are exactly correct in your statement above. Sorry some Carly supporters got after you for stating the truth. The act was talked about/described but NOT shown.

I could not vote for Carly for several reasons, but her stating shortly after 09/11/01 that Islam is the Greatest Civilization did it for me!
