UPDATE: In his own words Ahmed Mohamed, 14, an Irving MacArthur High student essentially states he knew taking the device to school was controversial. Listen at 1:26 video: I closed it with a cable, so because, I didnt want to lock it to make it seem like a threat so I just used simple cable . so it wont look that much suspicious.
Update#2 We are not the only people to pick up on the admitted intent. Follow THIS LINK To see exactly how it was engineered and the kids story gets even more sketchy.

The money quote, IMO. The son of a Muslim activist just happens to bring in a briefcase-like thing that resembles a bomb?
You mentioned that I identified Rev. Saltine as a troll before anyone e;se. I feel the Reverand was much less of one than this so-called ‘Conscience of a Conservative’. He’s stood out on my radar for a long time, consistently taking the most liberal of possible positions (with a few exceptions to mask the pattern). Check his history.
I’m not a “troll,” or a supporter of jihadists or the GOPe, just because I don’t think this kid is a Jihadist, or because I oppose the faux-conservative Trump. But if you want to waste a nice weekend afternoon waging your own personal jihad against me, have fun. I’m going to go spend the day with my family.
I don’t consider it a waste. Ridding the forum of leftists is an avocation of mine. I have something to do for a while, but I shall present a solid litany of your trolling.
Bfl. ;-)
Trying to twist my words to make me look like a “leftist” is a waste. And a joke. And a violation of FR rules (”NO personal attacks”). But, again, if that’s how you want to spend your day, more power to you.
LOL. You just became my hobby. That never ends well. >:)

Exactly! AND ....
The son of a Muslim activist just happens to tweet about this entire manufactured story and invites the kid (and family) to the White House, which he currently OCCUPIES.
All moozlums want to murder you and your family. Some will actively pursue that goal. Some will set the stage for the others. All will lie and scheme to achieve their goals.
Spending a beautiful fall day reading through page after page of posts to try to slander a poster and get him kicked off of an internet forum would not be MY choice of a hobby—in fact, I would think it a sad, pathetic way to spend a day—but to each their own, I guess.
Have a nice day!
Are you asking about in Israel or in the Gaza Strip?
Then the administrators and cops were complete idiots worthy of spending the rest of their days asking people if “they want fries with that”.
If there was the slightest iota of suspicion on their part, they should have followed full bomb threat protocol. That they didn’t says one of three things, they were 100% sure it wasn’t a bomb and just want “media attention to the threat”, or that they’re glaringly incompetent, or that some of the administration staff were in on it to “make a point about intolerance”...
Yep, it was a bomb hoax plain and simple and they had the legal duty to call the cops. Some people like to watch the world burn, Laz, and so much the better for their cowardly arses if they don’t have to be the ones setting it on fire. Just sit back and egg it on, that’s our dinodino.
Thanks, antceecee. I can hardly believe anyone is defending this obvious jihad tactic.
And another pro-jihadi apologist pipes up.
Haven’t gotten to it yet. But fear not! I will! :)
LOL He’ll never get invited to the WH hanging around with us. ;-)
A bomb hoax is a Class H felony and the school authorities had a legal duty to report it and the cops had a legal duty to investigate it.
How does stating the obvious make me a “pro jihadi enabler”??? That’s a pretty strong accusation in a debate particularly in as much as I’m probably in the upper 10% of people who will talk smack about islam and have always thought we’re not killing near enough of their kill-babblers.
Come up with some rhetorical game and lighten up on the ad hominem...
