I've been trying to figure out why Rush is doing daily Trump clean up exercises (latest was his Friday deconstruction and then reframing of Trump's less than stellar performance on Hugh Hewitt's show), along with his breathless cheerleading; it's not the Rush Limbaugh Show anymore, it has become the The Donald Show.
Then this morning I read that Megachurch Pastor Paula White has married her 3rd husband (she's his 4th) = 6 marriages. I'd looked her up because she's a good friend of Donald Trump (promotes his books and he promotes her) who is going to arrange a sit down with Trump and other evangelical leaders.
So, it dawns on me this is a mutual promotion society we're watching.
Limbaugh's EIB audience (reportedly) has been shrinking recently, so what better way to build it back up with some new blood than by jumping on the Trump wave?
Trump tweets that Rush is talking about him and Rush reports that Trump is tweeting about him and they're off to the piggy bank races.
If you took the time, you would see I wrote "reportedly."
Now if you know something different, fine. I'm glad you added what you think is the situation.
In fact, his audience doesn't have to be shrinking, he may well just see a ripe opportunity to grow his audience.
More power to him - more revenue, more minds full of mush to convert.
If he's not in the bag for his golfing buddy, then he better know when to jump ship or he'll bring us all down by his "cleverness."
I bet Cincinatus’ Husband doesn’t take you to the track. You ALWAYS back the wrong horse.
Well, think about it. They married each other.
Whose having trouble with math, huh?

Read it.
I agree but Rush has lost all balance. It’s over the top and all Trump.
(((Trump gave money to Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. Talk about a bunch of insiders.)))
I gave money to both candidates running for Mayor and Sheriff of this town and county. Hate to break the news to you but that’s how it’s done when you live and have a business in this county. I can only imagine how many hands are out at Trump’s level.
Well Trump appears to be siding with the Marxists and homosexuals in the war on Christianity. That is certainly not good news. I’d say Trump got until Tuesday or Wednesday to get right on the issue before he does serious damage to his campaign.
That’s funny.
Do you know the differences between say a Chapter 7 and a Chapter 11 bankruptcy?
(((Like declaring bankruptcy several times and letting others get stuck with his debt, or like dumping a couple of wives and marrying another foreign woman? Or using eminent domain to go after an old woman to get parking spots for his limos at a casino? Yeah, he is a real dependable guy.)))
Welcome to the real world of business and politic’s.
Are you implying that anything about the statement you highlighted is untrue?
So far his policy positions are fine with me.
If it were not for Trump we would not be talking about illegal immigration, a wall at the Southern border, ditching political correctness, exposing Jeb Bush for the GOP-E squish that he is, that Hillary is in trouble for her email scandal, that our country is being led by losers, etc.
The only thing I am not in agreement with Trump is that he said that the Supreme Court ruling on gay marriage is the law of the land.
I like Cruz, too, and have donated to him, but I am disappointed in his votes for TPA, Corker-Cardin, and his stand on H-1B visas.
The point is—there is no perfect candidate.
Your anti-Trump crusade is quite ineffective and a waste of resources, because every one of the 17 candidates that GOP has, has feet of clay in one area or another.
In my opinion, many of these candidates are just stalking horses for Bush to split the conservative vote and to eliminate opposition to Jeb. Once their usefulness to the GOP-E is over, they will dutifully drop out.
Right now, Trump is taking the arrows meant for Cruz and any other conservative candidate. He deserves props if only for that.
Rush does a pretty good job of imitating a conservative but went it counts he folds. I stopped listening to Rush years ago.
Do the math.
Trump helped elect Pelosi and Reid; Trump support(ed) universal healthcare; Pelosi and Reid run Congress and ram Obamacare down our throats. Trump supports Hillary; Hillary of Hillarycare.
And you don’t think that counts for contempt on our part?
I guess you give all the candidates a pass on their history.
I remember that.
Those aren't horses.
(((Rush does a pretty good job of imitating a conservative but went it counts he folds. I stopped listening to Rush years ago.)))
Had you actually listened to Rush at all You would know how ridiculous that comment is.
Sfl
Rush is doing Trump because Trump is the hottest candidate in the race. Taken together, the other 16 Pub candidates could put an insomniac to sleep.
Trump’s closest competitor, Carson, a fine & honorable man, will put America to sleep at a time of increasing national vulnerability & world chaos. While brilliant, he is politically naive.
The rest are a product of a GOPe bowel movement.
