A woman that stood up for her First Amendment rights currently sits in jail over her refusal to violate her religious conscience. Just about every candidate in the race for the GOP nomination has sounded off one way or the other. So why is Trump MIA on this?
“One cannot be 1000% conservatives on issues. This person simply cannot exist and if he does, he/she doesnt stand a chance to win the election.”
And this excuse will be used for every non-conservative position that Trump takes.
No one is asking for 1000% conservatives. Cruz isn’t batting 1000 either but golly gee, is it too much to expect Trump to be clear on something as basic as this? I mean the bible is his favorite book.
And I would expect someone who wants to be POTUS would be more well-informed about this. It hasn’t exactly been kept a secret.
What would Trump do to help her? Use his legal skills as an attorney and represent her? Er, never mind. He’s not an attorney. Oh oh, he could use his vast knowledge and expertise as a Constitutional scholar to defend her and fix the Constitutional errors that have occurred in the past 8 years. Er nevermind.
That’s okay. Trump will tell us what he is going to do. We will believe him because, well he’s saying the right stuff about immigration and we have his past voting record, er nevermind.
That’s okay. We shouldn’t worry. Trump is a good business man and knows how to make a deal. It will be alright. He will save us all.
Maybe he’s taking time to research this very carefully, talking to lawyers, so he can come up with a plan to save, or at least, support her.
Are we using the NG to disperse angry crowds now. Who knew?
I agree. He is coming up with a plan to save her.
What law? Tell me the law in Kentucky that says homosexuals can marry each other. Wait, there isn't one! In fact, the law in Kentucky **prohibits** marriage between members of the same sex.
Thanks but it won’t be good enough for the anti-Trump noobs...nothing will ever be good enough for them...bunch of losers...and they plan on losing again.
I went to the Trump page, hoping to find it, but I could not. I think to proper thing to do would to admit being mistaken instead of saying “I don’t care what you think”, we need to all get along, even when disagreeing, because of our common goal, getting the Constitution restored.
Now if you could show me where Trump has came out supporting Davis, I would be thrilled.
Trump did reply to this.
“the Supreme Court has ruled on the issue and it is the law of the land.
So I guess we now know where he stands on the issue.....
someone need a follow up with Trump, does that mean President Trump will lock up all government officials who allow sanctuary cities to occur
It is going to get more difficult to find jobs. If you plan on working in an industry that caters to the public, you will be required by almost all companies or government agencies to serve the public. No matter what their beliefs are.
That being said, pick your job wisely. If your religion states that Caffeine is a drug, you should not and can not work at Starbucks. If you are against gays, you will have to be careful what company (hotels, food industry, gov’t, etc) you work at.
The private sector is completely different. If you don’t want to serve gays, it is your decision. It is your company. There may be backlash and you will have to deal with that. In many peoples eyes, it would be like hanging a sign that says, “No Blacks Allowed”. You can do it, but you may go out of business because of it.
Very much so!
Come on Charles... Kentucky Law is second class to Federal Law... Sorry pal... You may not like it, but that is the way it works.
Somehow I missed the federal law that was passed on this. Which amendment to the Constitution is that again? I can’t find it.
Do you have a source or a link on that?
Here is the link and source:

And I saw a link on another thread to Trump’s comments this morning. Very weak. I’m not surprised.
