Where does Trump stand on KY Clerk Freedom Standoff? (Vanity)
Vanity | 09-03-2015 | parksstp

A woman that stood up for her First Amendment rights currently sits in jail over her refusal to violate her religious conscience. Just about every candidate in the race for the GOP nomination has sounded off one way or the other. So why is Trump MIA on this?

Honestly, who cares if these people want to get “Married”? It takes nothing away from me, my faith,....

Tell that to the small business owners who lost their business because they would not participate in gay weddings. What's next, prosecution for discrimination if you don't oblige a homo's sexual advance for no other reason then it is a homo?

Any candidate could do an awful lot. Let them camp outside the Carter County Jailhouse and see if it doesn’t draw a news crew or two!

The great turning point in Blacks’ monolithic support for Democrats came when JFK called Martin Luther King Jr as King was in jail for civil disobedience.

They could show up in front of the jail in protest, as you suggested.

But unless they big a big truck and a chain to jerk the jail door down,
how is that going to “spring” her out of jail?

Trump said, “ this is criminalization of Christianity in this country. We must defend religious liberty and never surrender to judicial tyranny. .. I was proud of Kim for standing strong for her beliefs. Who will be next? Pastors? Photographers? Caterers? Florists? ...it undermines the Constitution of the United States and our right to religious liberty”. Sorry if I make mistakes. Am reading it on my other iPad. Someone posted it on FB.

She is still the elected clerk of Rowan county. She will return to Rowan county in about a week and do this all over again.

The visibility of Cruz, Paul, et al at the jailhouse might just inspire the governor to assemble the legislature to finally rewrite the Kentucky marriage law.

Have a source, that looks like Huckabee’s quote from earlier. I did not see anything on Trumps FB or Twitter feed or any other news story

Who has decided she is a “horrible bigot”? Is she a bigot for practicing her religion? Are those who decry her practice of religion bigots?

We almost all have homosexual relatives or friends. I have two homosexual cousins. I definitely do not hate them, but I do not believe they have the right to marry. Am I a bigot?

Obviously you are ANTI-TRUMP. That noted, your post is non-sense. None of the candidates need to take a stand on these ‘single-issues’. I am sure that Trump will appoint jurors to the Supreme Court who will deal with this and other issues to ‘our’ liking.

No DemonCrat will appoint jurors who are anything but anti-US values.

Supreme Court appointments is where you deal with this and other things that the court currently is legislating with their ‘Decisions’.

I just checked his Twitter feed. He’s bragging about his success, about being at the top of the polls...the usual. No mention of Kim Davis or the KY situation.

It’s all about him, you know.

Although I expect he’ll do what he usually does-—by tomorrow one of his advisers will tell him he needs to make a statement and he’ll follow suit, and be hailed as a genius leader.

“I am proud of Kim for standing strong for her beliefs. Who will be next? Pastors? Photographers? Caterers? Florists? This is a reckless, appalling, out-of-control decision that undermines the Constitution of the United States and our fundamental right to religious liberty. —>”

That is on MIKE HUCKABEE’S FACEBOOK PAGE as Huck’s Quote.
