A woman that stood up for her First Amendment rights currently sits in jail over her refusal to violate her religious conscience. Just about every candidate in the race for the GOP nomination has sounded off one way or the other. So why is Trump MIA on this?
The NY Slimes recently published statements from the candidates to have commented on this very important issue regarding freedom and liberty

But where has Trump been? Last I seen, he was hyping the "loyalty" pledge he had signed and talking about his high poll numbers.
Trump doesn't get judicial tyranny. Couple this with the comment he made a week or so ago about his pro-abortion sister "would make a phenomenal SCOTUS Justice", he hasn't got a clue.
I've looked for something, anything regarding Trump's acknowledgement of what's been going on with Kim Davis in KY and have found nothing. They don't play Hewitt here, did that issue get touched on? What about at the "loyalty pledge" conference, any questions on it?
Where is Trump on this issue and why has he gone MIA?
He’s going to have to do more than talk about his love of the Bible.
he has said hes a good guy who “doesnt need to be forgiven”
better that hed said nothing..at least politically.
Probably because he knows she’s a ruse ( a plant) like most of us know.
From an Article from the Slimes on the Loyalty Conference:
“He refused to chime in on the case of Kim Davis, the county clerk in Kentucky who was ordered jailed on Thursday for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, saying he didnt know enough about it.”
I don’t think this is an acceptable answer given the amount of press this story has gotten from the past month or so and that it’s been discussed over all of talk radio, which Trump says he listens to all the time.
Explain, please.
“most of us know”..this.... how??
He was asked about it today...he said he was not familiar with the issue.
I can only assume that the next time he is asked, he will be read into the situation by staff.
even i’ll get out the popcorn when trump and all the gop politicians opine on this one (not including cruz and paul already on record as reported here). :)
I have only heard from Cruz, Huckabee, Paul, and Fiorini.
Cruz, Huck, and Paul support Davis.
Fiorini doesn’t.
Have you heard from Bush, Pataki, Christi, Gilmore, Kasich, Graham, Perry, Walker, Carson, Trump, Rubio, Santorum, or Jindal?
What exactly do you want him to do except “talk”.
What exactly can any of them do but “talk”.
I hope he points this out as another case of political correctness gone extremely wrong in the least.
Kim Davis is more of a hero than Rosa Parks could ever have dreamed of being.
Because he is in on the Trojan Horse deal...
Seriously, doesn’t the tinfoil start to itch or something?
He added, was she jailed? It was quick.
Walker and Jindal also have spoken on the right side of this issue.
“Wait, what are we talking about?
Donald Trump when asked at a press conference Thursday:
“I don’t know enough about it to comment on it. Was she jailed? I really don’t know much about it.”””

Dude, we cannot have everything right with our candidates. He said the right thing about the border and illegals, but I WISHED he said “Id put landmines at the border”, but he didn’t , did he?
One cannot be 1000% conservatives on issues. This person simply cannot exist and if he does, he/she doesn’t stand a chance to win the election.
In the first link, Santorum, Jindal, Walker, Christie,Graham all commented with Santorum/Jindal for and Christie/Graham against, and Walker’s answer, well, I don’t know you read the article and see if what Walker said leans one way or the other.
Kasich already mentioned the “law of the land” BS a few weeks ago before Davis ever appealed or the issue had gone to court to begin with.
Carson - Actually had an aide that took the position of Fiorina (Ouch!)
