The NY Slimes recently published statements from the candidates to have commented on this very important issue regarding freedom and liberty

But where has Trump been? Last I seen, he was hyping the "loyalty" pledge he had signed and talking about his high poll numbers.
Trump doesn't get judicial tyranny. Couple this with the comment he made a week or so ago about his pro-abortion sister "would make a phenomenal SCOTUS Justice", he hasn't got a clue.
I've looked for something, anything regarding Trump's acknowledgement of what's been going on with Kim Davis in KY and have found nothing. They don't play Hewitt here, did that issue get touched on? What about at the "loyalty pledge" conference, any questions on it?
Where is Trump on this issue and why has he gone MIA?
He’s going to have to do more than talk about his love of the Bible.
Probably because he knows she’s a ruse ( a plant) like most of us know.
From an Article from the Slimes on the Loyalty Conference:
“He refused to chime in on the case of Kim Davis, the county clerk in Kentucky who was ordered jailed on Thursday for refusing to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, saying he didnt know enough about it.”
I don’t think this is an acceptable answer given the amount of press this story has gotten from the past month or so and that it’s been discussed over all of talk radio, which Trump says he listens to all the time.
He was asked about it today...he said he was not familiar with the issue.
I can only assume that the next time he is asked, he will be read into the situation by staff.
even i’ll get out the popcorn when trump and all the gop politicians opine on this one (not including cruz and paul already on record as reported here). :)
I have only heard from Cruz, Huckabee, Paul, and Fiorini.
Cruz, Huck, and Paul support Davis.
Fiorini doesn’t.
Have you heard from Bush, Pataki, Christi, Gilmore, Kasich, Graham, Perry, Walker, Carson, Trump, Rubio, Santorum, or Jindal?
I hope he points this out as another case of political correctness gone extremely wrong in the least.
Kim Davis is more of a hero than Rosa Parks could ever have dreamed of being.
Dude, we cannot have everything right with our candidates. He said the right thing about the border and illegals, but I WISHED he said “Id put landmines at the border”, but he didn’t , did he?
One cannot be 1000% conservatives on issues. This person simply cannot exist and if he does, he/she doesn’t stand a chance to win the election.
elsewhere it’s reported the buffoon christie says move her to another job. does he even know she’s an elected official?
Will you sleep better tonight if Trump “talks” about it?
Will he pass your litmus test if he talks about it?
What can Cruz, the Huckster and Paul actually do to help Kim
other than “talk” about it?
Any suggestions?
I’m sorry Trump is not responding according to your schedule, have you tried calling him?
This is a serious issue, perhaps he’s reviewing all the facts and will make an educated statement on his timeline. It kinda sounds like you would prefer a POTUS that comments off-the-cuff before he has all the facts. If so, you should be happy with the current leadership you already have.
Tonight, Mr. Trump dines with Malaysian dignitaries.
Why don’t you direct your question to President Obams?!
Huh!
Your level of suck is rarely seen in these parts.
I don’t get how this is a 1st amendment issue. There is no ‘right’ to be a government functionary. If she doesn’t want to do the job of handing out government licenses in accordance with the law she can quit. Nobody is forcing her to do so.
I believe anyone has a right to open a bakery and serve whomever they please because it is their labor and their property, but nobody gets to be a government clerk and start deciding how to apply the law contrary to the direction of the courts. She can decide she doesn’t want to do it, but she can’t decide no one else can. A clerkship is not a fiefdom.
Trump said, “ this is criminalization of Christianity in this country. We must defend religious liberty and never surrender to judicial tyranny. .. I was proud of Kim for standing strong for her beliefs. Who will be next? Pastors? Photographers? Caterers? Florists? ...it undermines the Constitution of the United States and our right to religious liberty”. Sorry if I make mistakes. Am reading it on my other iPad. Someone posted it on FB.
Obviously you are ANTI-TRUMP. That noted, your post is non-sense. None of the candidates need to take a stand on these ‘single-issues’. I am sure that Trump will appoint jurors to the Supreme Court who will deal with this and other issues to ‘our’ liking.
No DemonCrat will appoint jurors who are anything but anti-US values.
Supreme Court appointments is where you deal with this and other things that the court currently is legislating with their ‘Decisions’.
I just checked his Twitter feed. He’s bragging about his success, about being at the top of the polls...the usual. No mention of Kim Davis or the KY situation.
It’s all about him, you know.
Although I expect he’ll do what he usually does-—by tomorrow one of his advisers will tell him he needs to make a statement and he’ll follow suit, and be hailed as a genius leader.
The bigger question is why do we “Christians’ tolerate our being arrested.
Beyond a strongly worded post what are we willing to do about it??/
Trump doesn’t care about your schedule for how he should handle things.
How’s your candidate doing? Since s/he’s way behind, maybe you should worry more about his/her performance.
Where does Franklin Graham stand on the issue?
Where does Joel Osteen stand on the issue?
Where does Rick Warren stand on the issue?
Where do all the supposedly huge and powerful Christian organizations stand on the issue?
This lady has no help coming. There will be silly "prayer requests" and some bake sales and other meaningless stuff like that, but nothing of substance will happen.
The complete assault on Christianity by the Liberal movement has exposed American Christianity as a completely weak, powerless, disorganized, and apathetic movement.
