The EPA “took responsibility” when they destroyed the Animas River. No one was was fired. No one was arrested. No fines were levied.

Same thing here. “Takes responsibility” means that there will be “No Consequences.”

Well, for now ...

As David Frye said as Richard Nixon on the album Richard Nixon,a Fantasy. “I accept full responsibility. But NOT the blame. Let me explain the difference. People who are to blame lose their jobs. People who are responsible do not.”

Good, Hillary.

Now, report to Ft. Leavenworth.

In former times, “taking responsibility” meant that you were admitting you messed up, and by implication, were not suitable for carrying on. Someone who “took responsibility” would back up their words by resigning the job they screwed up.

Oh what a different world we live in today. Now, “taking responsibility” is just an empty phrase tossed about by leadership-wannabees trying to impress gullible fools. No resigning on principle, no action to back up those impressive words, just .... emptiness. That’s Hillary.

Ironically, Hillary DEFINITELY WILL be “taking responsibility” for the server mess in the near future, but it won’t be on the campaign trail, it will be in a courtroom.

Regardless of whether any of us “accepted responsibility” for the sort of crimes Hillary has committed we would all be imprisoned for those crimes.

And then the next step in the Clintonian management of a scandal, will be to say soon that this is all old news, that this has been hashed over, and it is now behind us.

So then Hillary can continue to compare Republicans to terrorists if Republicans are against abortion. She can continue to imply that Republicans are against breast cancer screenings and “women’s health”.

Anyone else get tired and weary of hearing Hillary’s voice, the hectoring, haranguing, the lecturing, the tone of her voice, the sound of her voice???

I mean apart from what she is actually saying, the sound of Hillary is just like nails on the chalkboard to me.

Like ATG Reno took responsibility for Waco and stayed on for years.

taking responsibility under the most favorable meaning of the term implies some action will be taken to correct the problem.

With the Clintons—and most Leftists—saying “I take responsibility” may only mean that they are proud of the action and aren’t going to change a thing.

Now that her presidential campaign is taking on water, a disingenuous former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said this week that she was accepting “responsibility” for illegally using an insecure private Internet server to transmit emails containing top-secret classified U.S. government documents.

Hillary taking responsibility...

Yeah, I did it. Wanna make something out of it?
At this point what difference does it make?

Consequences?
WTF is that?
