Oh no...please tell me this is a joke...
People actually WANT him?
As the classic song goes
“Everybody needs somebody to love”
Poll | Date | Sample | Clinton | Sanders | Biden | O'Malley | Webb | Chafee | Spread |
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
RCP Average | 7/30 - 8/16 | -- | 49.3 | 25.0 | 12.0 | 1.7 | 1.3 | 0.0 | Clinton +24.3 |
CNN/ORC | 8/13 - 8/16 | 358 RV | 47 | 29 | 14 | 2 | 1 | 0 | Clinton +18 |
FOX News | 8/11 - 8/13 | 401 LV | 49 | 30 | 10 | 1 | 1 | 0 | Clinton +19 |
Monmouth | 7/30 - 8/2 | 429 RV | 52 | 16 | 12 | 2 | 2 | 0 | Clinton +36 |
And Here I thought you were talking about a 70’s TV program about a German Shepard called “Run Joe Run”.
No Way the democrats will run this joke
The Dems have mostly been running jokes since 1896.
Gosh,
If for just comic relief you want Joe in the race.
Come on Joe, ya drunk, what very stupid thing are you going to say next.
We've had a failed clothing salesman owned by a machine boss, a mobbed up walking venereal disease, a rapist hick, and those are three that WON. How does Biden the drunk weirdo not fit in?
They nominated THAT guy once, OVER BIDEN!
Add “community organizer” to that list too.
Gross. Yep, Sloe Joe fits right in.
Couple of dandies right there......
Haha Barkley, he has the ignominy of being to last incumbent VP to run who failed to get the nomination. Loser!
Garner was probably the last conservative democrat to be a serious candidate for President, you could argue he was to the right of GOP nominee Wilkie. Broke with Delawhore Roosevelt, decent guy AFAIK, other than his typical southron democrat racism.
All this talk makes me think of this: http://youtu.be/fgIsUiT2dug
Which makes me think of Walter Mondale.
Cactus Jack was an old Tory Democrat (and don’t forget, he lived until he was nearly 100, dying in 1967, so he had a lot of years left in him). If the election in 1940 had been between him and the younger liberal Willkie (who wouldn’t have even lived to the end of his term), I’d have voted for Jack.
As for Alben Barkley, I don’t think he was considered a serious candidate. He came back to get his old Senate seat shortly before he died. He’s still somewhat revered amongst Western Kentuckians (adjacent to my neck of the woods). Not a bad sort, but he wouldn’t recognize the Communist Democrat party today.
