Megyn Kelly lost her debate with Donald Trump because she breached one immutable rule of journalism, falling for one of the oldest tricks in the book that men use to win. That is, Kelly, as a journalist, allowed herself to become the story. In fact she now is a huge part of the drama. J-skul students are warned about this big time No-No by wily and savvy professors who preach over and over, be objective, stay out of it, be impartial, dont get involved!
In addition, Kelly let the men use her, something any woman who has ever been around any union negotiations recognizes early on. A Chicago area, female unionist told me one time after a very contentious three month teachers strike that the men disappeared for the marching, the protests in the parking lots and the face to face confrontations. When the street theatre ended and the drama played itself out, the men on both sides, the administrators and the union leaders (all men by the way) came in, sat down, carved up the pie, passed around their goodies, got up, shook hands, and left the room.
Look, Kelly was chosen by FOX corporate to do their hit job on Donald Trump because they and the Rino establishment want Jeb Clinton in the Oval Office, IMHO. Donald Trumps experience, intelligence, wealth, his manly strength, decisiveness, discernment and understanding of the political power structure in this country are enormous existential threats to those who need Hillary Bush or Jeb Clinton elected! And Hillarys E-mail scandals have resonated with the public as Benghazi and the IRS flap never did.
So heres what went on. Kelly was placed stage center in front of and in direct eye contact with the one man in the room these machinists fear...

She glowed in Trumps brief ratings high as her own, but then the horrible job they did against all the candidates was not overlooked.
Fox just died due to those three IMO. I’m not watching anymore.
“That is, Kelly, as a journalist, allowed herself to become the story.”
That is exactly what I told my wife.
Well, maybe but I think Fox News s the big loser. She was just doing what she was told to do by Ailes.
The anger and vitriol should be focused appropriately ... Roger “I love me some GOPe” Ailes.
EXCELLENT, well written article
Kelly is the kinda journalist if she was a model would do hustler because playboy would not have her
If the article expresses the truth it is good that a media creature was taken down. Who appointed the media creatures as our masters anyway?
As far as I am concerned, Kelly did a good job and if Trump could not answer the questions now then how do you think he would answer them later when the MSM hounds were unleashed on him. As much as I like him as an individual, Trump needs to come prepared for these sessions and answer the questions appropriately. If anyone wants to know how it is done just watch Cruz in that debate take a question about God and turn it around to show all of his strengths.

I’ve been watching FNC since it first came on, but haven’t watched it for a minute since the debate.
When The Donald said “Rosie O’Donell”, you could see the air come out of Ms Kelly’s sails.
Flumoxed ain’t the word.
The Donald knocked that whole question right out of the park, along with Ms Kelly.
Give her one year and she will be gone from Fox.

Absolutely agreed!
Great post!
That is what happened to Katie Couric. She became the story and look what happened to her.
It takes decades to build a reputation and seconds to lose it all.
I haven’t watched FNC in years, but would go back to watching Meghyn’s show
if she agreed to do it topless.
Fox had something like it was produced by the Disney Channel. Poor, Poor Megyn Kelly having to put up with that meanie Donald Trump. The smirking Professor Chris Wallace and jug eared Bret Baeir. Laughable. Sick circus act. I see now why liberals hate Faux Snooze
I'm not sure that the 2nd photo is from the night of the debate, but she was wearing a suit for her moderating duties, not a cocktail dress. This was as close as I could find. She looked very professional, but I think her hair was a little shorter than pictured here.
Kelly is wearing her hair too long, and she flips it as much as Ann Coulter -- another woman who does harm to the image of Republican women.
