GIVE US A KING!" or "THE MADNESS OF KING SAUL"
Donald Trump's despicable comments about Megyn Kelly are God's mercy toward the U.S. We've been allowed to see the madness of Saul in time to reject him. If anything has ever illustrated our debased view of manhood (as explained in the Intro to my book 7MEN), Donald Trump is it. He is not gentlemanly or chivalrous or heroic. He is a win-at-all-costs Saul who would mesmerize us for a time and lift our hopes, only to destroy us in the end. His viciously nasty comments toward Rosie O'Donnell were not what a gentleman says about a woman, no matter who she is or what awful things SHE has said. A gentleman would never have stooped to that level. Would George Washington or Abraham Lincoln speak about a woman that way? We've fallen very far that we would tolerate this behavior. One also might observe that it was Megyn Kelly's JOB to ask the tough questions and he OUGHT to have been prepared for that question, and OUGHT to have had a good answer, a la "My comments about Rosie O'Donnell were absolutely out of line and I sincerely apologize for them. There was no excuse for that. I also apologize for going over the line in my comments toward John McCain." Had he said something like that he would have INSTANTLY made REAL news and would have risen in everyone's eyes and would have appeared statesmanlike and presidential and strong -- NOT weak. But alas, that's not what he did. So sad, but God's mercy, in the end.
See post #51...gives a probably background on that photo.
Nor was Romney and lesser yet but the GOPe managed to make Republicans swallow the poison...
Keep blowing Hot Air!
If Trump is such a misogynist, why ALL of his previous ladies have always praised him and stood by him evern after breakups? Throwing out opinions without any evidence make one look misogynist himself.
Ick!
Heh, after I saw the Drudge poll after the debates that had Trump winning, I remarked elsewhere that people were going with the “give us King Saul because he’s so tall” or Isaiah Chapter 3 in which God says we’ll have babes and children to rule over us (which granted came before Trump-try Obama and most of Congress)and in which we plead with some unqualified person to rule over us because he has clothing.
That’s the reaction to Trump in a nutshell. I was struck by his open admittance as well that he donated to different politicians to curry favor from them. He said that was a problem with our system. It of course wasn’t so problematic that he wasn’t going to take advantage of it to the utmost as a businessman. But as a candidate for president, it’s now one of the big problems in our system.
I just wish conservatives would coalesce behind the actual truest conservative in the race. If Cruz doesn’t win and an acceptable alternative does, that’s fine. I’ll get on board with that acceptable alternative. But we should at least try to back the best person first.
Now I get maybe we don’t all agree. And a person’s vote is their personal endorsement that they have to figure out and decide for themselves. But I do hate to see people mesmerized but someone who I see as a charlatan in many ways. Again, we went through that with Obama, and everyone who elected him.
Here we go again. So and so is too liberal, not conservative enough, blah blah blah. Look who we ended up with - a commie Muslim TRAITOR.
Trump just might be the only one who can put the country back together again, and have the guts to tell it like it is.
My hatred of the establishment elites and the GOPee, RINOs, country clubbers, party people and all around lying phonies is far greater than any problem I have with Donald Trump. Except for Cruz and Carson, and maybe Fiorina, every last one of the others is connected to the GOPee. So I have a much larger problem with all the others than I do with Trump.
I would roll on the floor with laughter if the so called “anti-woman” Trump chose Sarah Palin as his running mate. All the right heads would explode in both parties. It would serve the GOPee right.
So .. I guess the new liberal talking point is, “Trump is not a Conservative” .. AS IF THE LIBERALS GIVE A RIP ABOUT THE CONSERVATIVES .. and the liberals need to warn their Conservative friends before Trump does some bad thing to them.
I’M AT PUKE ALREADY.
Neither is the GOP
It's amusing how people can drag up old pictures and make it seem like something other than what it was.
That is a very realistic assessment of the situation! You must be good at logic.
Hev Arbusto will not be elected POTUS. Trump may be as conservative as can be had.
What would really make their heads explode is if he chose Latina Susana Martinez as his running mate.

LOL!!!!
Where was that pic taken?
See post #51. Apparently, 1983, Kennebunkport when GHW was VP.
I don't think he has the personality to be Presidential for 4 or 8 years, and I don't like the precedent of electing billionaires or firebrand celebrities... but if the nominee is not Cruz or Walker, my vote goes where Trump goes.
