She has a point, a good dog will make you wonder just who adopted who.

Not buying it. Someone had to tuck that dog in.

Someone had to tuck that dog in. My wife immediately said that too. Our cat however is quite able to tuck herself in on a cold night.

People with large cats often have to keep them out of the nursery when the babies are young. The cats will snuggle on the infant.it’s their nature..and unfortunately, there have been a few cases of the baby been suffocated..

Nope. I have a dog that does that. Anytime the temp is below 70, he’s looking for his blankie.

i’ve seen more than one dog nose under a blanket, crawl in and then stick their head back out. this is plausible... and adorable as heck.

Liars...everyone knows cats cornered the market on cute.;-)

My cat does that every night in the winter. No cat when I hit the hay. When I wake up, he’s under the covers with his head on my pillow. (Can’t speak for dogs, though.)
To: Kartographer
Bump for later. However, I also find the story that the dog got into the crib and covered himself with the blanket to be implausible.

The last couple of nights my wife has slept on the couch and our 15 yr old female Shih Shu slept under the covers against me to stay warm.
(I'm a male, so I crank down the AC at night.)
...and I let her sleep in, never got up as I got ready for work.
Also have a male, both spoiled rotten by their "mother".

A friend has a Pit/Hound mix named Puddin who regularly wraps herself up in blankets.
Sometimes, all you see is a Puddin shaped lump on the sofa but she’s in there.

If you read the article, the dog was completely under the covers when she walked into the room. The dog then stuck his head out, and seeing her, just laid down on the pillow.

if the little girl is like my Granddaughter, she probably coaxed him up on the bed and then hid him under her covers before she finally dozed off.

Exactly what I was thinking. The dog didn’t cover himself up and the baby didn’t do it either.
