Something is coming. I don’t know what. But we must be ready. Here’s the key question: Is America heading towards a terrible implosion or a great awakening?
I feel a tremendous sense of urgency about this column.
The United States is hurtling towards severe trouble, and the events of the past few months — and what may be coming over the next few months — grieves me a great deal.
Something is coming. I don’t know what. But we all must be ready in every possible way.
Consider where we are in the summer of 2015:
•Violence is exploding in our cities, schools and churches. The horrific mass murder inside the church in Charleston would be bad enough if it wasn’t just one of innumerable mass killings that have become epidemic in America.
•Racism is tearing us apart, and it appears things are getting worse, not better.
•The Supreme Court is poised to rule any day now on the definition and future of marriage — and if the Court rules against Biblical marriage I believe this could cause the Lord’s hand to turn against our country in a severe and profound way according to the moral laws found in Romans chapter one.
•Abortions are occurring at more than one million in year and have put America on the fast track to judgment. Since 1973, Americans have murdered 57 million children through abortions. The blood of 57 million babies is crying out for justice, and they will get it in God’s sovereign timing. Could that be soon?
•If all this wasn’t bad enough, marriages and families are imploding all around us. Poverty is growing. Drug and alcohol use is epidemic. And that’s just here at home.
•Abroad, Iran is closing in on The Bomb.

I accidentally wandered into the same situation. We moved to a rural conservative area on purpose - but didn’t realize just how informed, armed, and prepared the locals would be. Other than liberal Yankees across the holler, the rest of the neighbors are top-notch.

I don’t think the Bible says Russia becomes Christian as part of the end times. Russia has historically had a lot of Christians but is more aptly compared to Gog/Magog which will try to overcome Jesus when He has the table set to come back to set things aright.
And who is allowing him to make those changes? And in fact, in many cases, complicit in the work? Republicans. Pussified, spineless, nancy-boy whimps. Or colluding, back-stabbing traitors... Take your pick. Losing just the House should be enough to stop legislation of any kind... If there is a party in opposition... Which there is not.

Again, while REPUBLICANS own house and senate, and with a REPUBLICAN led Supreme Court... Republicans with the biggest mandate ever. YOU. ARE. BLIND. The blame lies upon those who should oppose him... Who were specifically given power to oppose him. Yet here we are, slouching toward Gomorrah, all the same.

I very rarely post wrt politics anymore. There isn't any point in it. As long as y'all refuse to recognize that the Republicans are nothing more than the right foot of the same damn monster that the left foot is attached to, there will be no change at all.

I have conceded nothing. Every principle and belief is intact. It is the Republicans who have conceded, who have waffled, who have colluded, who have accepted. I didn't leave the Republicans. The Republicans left me. And stunning, landmark wins that changed *absolutely nothing* are the proof.
I am a Conservative, not a Republican. There is a VAST difference between the two. Wake up.

The book of Daniel mentions the wicked continuing to be wicked. The Lord’s justice will not sleep forever.
Perhaps this is what we are anticipating.

A lot of elegy threads in these past couple days. Mourners of America lament with figurative sackcloth and ashes.
It's as if Jeremiah has returned, crying with many voices.

Had our representatives dealt with Obama we would not be near where we are now.....instead they simply have protected their seats...as usual...even in light of the “danger” he made so obvious.
Whatever is coming I see the likelihood of any resistance very slim...the will is simply not there to act against the trajectory.....we are fortunate to have this site to even express our concerns.

Very good to keep that in mind because the “push” to comply is going to increase in pressure to do so.
It seems to me there’s ‘a deception’ which has begun that “blinds” what’s obvious to us and why there’s so much “stupidity”, as we call it, when in fact they simply can’t see the obvious.

I believe God used the USA as his “foot-print” in the Middle East which ‘prevented’ all we see happening under Obama now ...he’s removed it.
In order for the Middle East to shape up , as is written that it will, the US had to play a less powerful role. It would take an un-american who would do so..thus Obama. He stirred the wasp nest and then withdrew.
I do believe our military will be used abroad.....but under the control of the upcoming World Governance ....Obama’s been very busy making sure we are moving to that end....using the Russia Ukraine conflict to position more bases and troops overseas.

This country is following all the earmarks of All Empires which have fallen in the past.....just as Rome did. It never ceased either but no longer was Mighty Rome.
