I may have spoken too soon. The monsoons have returned intermittently this morning. :-|

The reaction of most of the talking heads on Fox to Donald Trump’s announcement yeaterday demonstrates that they are all poltroons. Kimberly Guilfoyle and Eric Bolden are the 2 exceptions.

Of course — keep in mind that I heard Trump’s speech on the radio. The impression on TV might be quite different. (And I’ve never liked Trump at all, but I liked what I heard yesterday on Serius Radio, driving across country.)

Our coward in chief, our poltroon
When faced with his own high noon
Hid behind a Benghazi lie
While Stevens did fry
Leaving Hillary to bay at the moon.

The joke may well be on the DC insiders, Trump is a populist.

I have to say that I was shocked last night to see his wife appearing at the kickoff to his campaign in a strapless dress. I guess folks in NY are used to seeing her that way, but I was surprised when we finally got home late and turned on the TV, after hearing his speech all day long on the car radio.

I couldn’t figure out who all the “family” was in the announcement. I guess “Baron” is his son, and the tall, skinny blonde is his wife? And I suppose Ivanca was there witha husband? Who were all the others? Was the little girl that he had with Miss Georgia Peach there? Does he have children with this new wife, Miss White Strapless Dress?

I swear under that flaring top part to her dress was a bare midriff! LMAO I said the same thing to my husband....strapless dress during the day? RME Nothing says tramp, quite like that dress. Might have been expensive, but she is hardly first lady material.

When posting class...after hitting general/chat the next screen has a box that says choose...hit choose and go to very bottom of that column and there is a Word for the Day box to check and it will appear under that in the side bar.

I have to say, however, that she is one of the FEW women her age who can carry off the strapless look.

She looked nice, but inappropriate for the occasion. I notice he didn’t stand too close to her. Hmm, it’s all about him, not her in his mind.

Well, at least you can’t call her poltroon, as far as her belief system. Merely irrational:

Ouch, ladies-I’m far older than the latest Trump trophy wife, and I’ve never had “work” done-but I do stay in shape with my job and hiking, and wear strapless tops on quick trips and errands around here, and strapless tops/dresses out to dinner-I still get a second look from guys my age, and sometimes even a compliment-and I’ll bet both of you can still rock strapless, too-this isn’t Victorian England-proper be damned, as long as it looks good.

I think the Trump trophy does look hard in the face, for any age-definitely rode hard and put up wet a few times...

I think he has a baby with that wife-I believe that other one is the kid he had with the Georgia leech, though...

A list of the contenders on
The liberal side in the race
Looks more like total chaos
As lunatics woo their base

Hillary is the queen of mean
And Sanders is up on the moon-
But neither would be much worse
Than Obama as chief poltroon

But they would be disastrous
And would find a way to curse
Any effort to dump Obamacare
By repealing chapter and verse...
