Islam is currently the world's most controversial—and fastest growing—religion. There are approximately 1.5 billion Muslims in the world, very few of whom are violent. The problem is that the relatively small number of violent ones—whether they’re jihadists or members of violent militias like ISIS and Boko Haram—are causing a PR problem for what is sometimes called the "religion of peace." Added to the mix is the oppression of minorities, specifically women and gays, within some Muslim countries. It’s hardly controversial to say that Islam has problems to address, though it can quickly get you called a bigot.
Just as with any other religion or ideology, none of which are close to perfect, Islam should be subjected to intense scrutiny. However, this is where the problem arises. Religions really hate criticism, which is odd. Questioning Islam puts you in different category from critics of other ideologies, a much more dangerous one. If you doubt this and think all religions are equally violent, try burning a Bible and then a Koran on YouTube and get back to me.

What better way to fight and try to destroy Christianity and Judaism than to find a useful idiot who embraces evil in his heart, come to him in dreams and lie to him. Fill his mind with lies and tell him you are the one true god. Then turn him loose after telling him to look for followers using the same lies. Eventually, he will have a billions other useful idiots who believe the lies and want nothing more than to kill 'infidels'.

For a majority peaceful religion they have no problem beating their wives as long as they follow the Koran and don’t use a stick “thicker than their thumb”.

Yes. Why is that?
I'll tell you why. Because there are too many cowards unwilling to call a spade a spade. And this is coming from someone who believes that anti-Muslim bigotry can be taken too far!
Islam, IMHO, is, quite frankly, inferior, inasmuch as it does not teach love (at least not enough love) but rather promulgates hate.
To any Muslims who read this, it gives me no joy to say that, but it sadly and heart-breakingly appears to be the truth.
I invite moderate Muslims to prove me wrong with actions, not mere words.
Why is the above true?
Because the Koran is evidently full of intolerance, bigotry, and unspeakably violent rhetoric.
The Koran is basically the exact opposite of the Christian New Testament.
That is not to say that there aren't many Muslims who choose to focus on whatever positive teachings exist in the Koran. I know there are many such Muslims, because Americans interact with them on a daily basis down at the corner store.
American culture, with all of its flaws, has a profoundly moderating effect on hate, thankfully. Freedom, opportunity and a Christian foundation will do that.
But when a hate-filled savage Wahhabist animal can point to verses in his holy book which justify unspeakable violence, and brainwash generations of children to embrace the same inhuman behavior, then we have a major problem.
In Wahhabist Islam, we essentially have a religion which is fundamentally incompatible with modern, Christian, egalitarian Western civilization.
And if the moderate Muslims don't purge these violent animals from their ranks, the rest of the world will eventually impose a final solution from the outside.
And at that point, a quarter of the world's population will necessarily be obliterated.
I hope and pray that the Muslim world reaches a critical mass, and sees this reality before it's too late. Because the alternative is their utter annihilation, which will happen at great cost of blood, treasure, and spirit to the rest of the world as well.
The Islamic religion must be cleansed, either from within or without.
Since we're never going to be able to destroy every copy of the Koran, the only alternative is for Wahhabist Muslims to join the modern world and stop repressing their fellow men and women.
Muslims must learn to tolerate homosexuals, Jews, Christians, and all the other "infidels", to the point that we can all peacefully coexist.
That means not hating those, even of their own faith, with whom they disagree. That means forever rejecting the murderous and suicidal tenets of the Wahhabist mindset.
