Don't miss what happened when a reporter dared to try to get a straight answer out of Baltimore's mayor:

About that Baltimore mayor thing --

1) I bet the mayor would have been totally unable to give a good answer.
2) I bet the mayor has put in place really bad policies.
3) The reporter is an utter jerk.

The reporter allowed the mayor to say about 5 words -- then he interrupted her with a different, but related question. Then he allowed her to say about three words, and then he interrupted her again.

Sorry. I know the reporter is right and I know the mayor is the problem. But the reporter is a jerk.

The breakdown is happening anyway. without the demands of protest and violence the nation has been redistributing so much to the nonproductive that there are no real asets left to redistribute. The country is broke and there is nothing left to collapse. The real collapse has already happened. The government is just blowing as much air into it as possible to keep the appearance of survival .

C-P didn’t really cause anything. It was in the works even then. C-P is merely a description of what Wilson and FDR set in motion and LBJ set in concrete.

Now whites need to elave Baltimore, whites that will not accept the risk and responsibilities of being free, going in the rest of Maryland.

Whites that will accept and want the risk and responsibilities of being free coming to Maine.

Elementary Ethics, My Dear Watson

Let the punishment fit the crime

They voted for a race hustling poverty pimp; whatever penalty they pay should only be proportionate.

They didn't attack people on the street; they don't deserve to be attacked.

Where's the justice in having to live unsafely for just being a poor, poorly educated black person, who can't even move about safely on the street?

Someone should ask Obama if the citizens of Baltimore built that(Baltimore) or is it the product of federal intervention?

A friend of mine owns a townhouse near Camden Yards in a “gentrified” area. He goes to Zillow everyday and watches his property value go down. His renter moved out last week. He reported the rioters went down the street smashing window panes and tried to break into his house. Ironically they didn’t damage may cars on the street. This was in a “good” area.

Another proffered explanation is that by increasing chaos & destruction, property values plummet for what once was, and someday will be again, very valuable real estate. See the en-masse purchases of blocks of blighted/condemned/evicted/foreclosed/infested properties in Detroit. Same idea was suggested re: Ferguson, and I’m thinking it might be similar in Baltimore.

Another piece of analysis is here, drawing connections between the Leftist ideologies and methodolgy of revolution, and the situation in Baltimogadishu (nice touch!) and cities yet to come...

Rawlings-Blake is totally out of her depth. I’m not sure what her proper depth is, maybe a kindergarten class.

Baltimore is a classic example of affirmative action’s destruction of our society. They are only in office due to their color.....nothing else.

We have an affirmative action President and look what has happened to the greatest power and shining example of freedom the world has ever known.

I would venture a guess that 80% of Baltimore’s elected officials have absolutely no idea on how to manage anything. They were elected strictly by the color of their skin and nothing else.

The majority-minority denizens of the urban hellhole I call Baltimogadishu are getting exactly what they demanded (and deserve) for electing a 100% Afro-Marxist cabal; a cabal which viciously joins the Obama administration and media in demonizing local cops, while excusing and even sanctifying mobs of unfettered black terrorist thugs roaming and ruling the streets.

This is a great statement. Now I'm wondering just how much the Republican candidates will water down this perfectly correct assessment of the situation when asked to comment by the liberal media.

The challenge with Cloward-Piven is that, in order for it to really work, you need a general collapse. EVERY city needs to go up, if not at the same time then certainly in quick succession. It’s the only way you really created the kind of crisis atmosphere that will have politicians across the ideological spectrum become willing to vote for revolutionary changes.

We’re not seeing that. What we’re seeing are cities going up in a more distributed onsie-twosie manner. So while there may be an immediate crisis in Baltimore, a distant past (for the American attention span) immediate crisis in Fergussom and ongoing but slow burning crises in Detroit and Chicago, most of the country could really care less. And leaders in those areas that do care (other urban areas) arent bought into Cloward-Piven and are paying attention mostly from a “how can we keep that from happening here?” standpoint.

To top it all off, we’re also seeing that the cadre of professional agitators isn’t big enough to focus on more than one urban area at a time. Fergusson looks pretty quiet right now. Charleston SC, where it’s believed that the cop coldly executed the fleeing suspect and then planted a weapon on him, is, and has been quiet.

What’s happening in Baltimore was as predictable as night follows day. All they had to do was look at what happened in DETROIT. The object of every liberal, socialist and communist is to destroy the very foundation of what makes a city prosper. Just look at every city that has had these people have had a free hand in governing for the last 30 to 40 years. Every one of them (CITIES), have either gone broke or have been turned into a WAR ZONE. But trying to tell these people living in these cities, that the continued voting for these politicians, is the cause of their continued misery, is like “PISSING IN THE WIND”. It’s the “GOVERNMENT MONEY” you know.
