I got laid off at 25. I slept and ate and drank booze all day in the basement and within 4 days my crying mother called my brother, my insane Italian uncles and everyone showed up.
One broken window and one bleeding head and one day later I was driving a cab six nights a week 12 hours a day. Went on later to learn computers.
And Im quite sure you didnt need a government run “training program” to teach you how to keep those jobs.
That’s a good family, and they cared about you. This withering away can happen to anybody at a certain vulnerable moment.
Well there you go.
That scenario can be the “training on how to maintain a job and any other obstacles that come their way” which the democrat councilman wants to implement.
If I was unemployed, my parents would also have utilized certain “incentives” to get me off my fat rear to get a job. Old school Germans and Italians. Excuses didn’t work with them.
Aren’t you happy your family cared enough to kick your behind into gear!?
Too bad so many don’t any more. Your story is a perfect example of family taking care of family! Not letting them slide into “discovering who they are” for their entire life.
