In the latest part of the outrage parade, a 16 year old Hunger Games star has declared the use of certain hair styles as racist. According to Amandla Stenberg, non-blacks wearing cornrows represent ‘cultural appropriation’ and slammed popular public figures for using the style in their fame.

Buzzfeed has a particularly bizarre article relating to the video. In it, it shows stills and gifs of Stenberg’s rant. In part, Stenberg declared that the rise of white rappers Macklemore and Iggy Azalea have been tied to their ‘appropriation’ of black culture. She states that their increased popularity has been in part influenced by large scale protests regarding the killings of Trayvon Martin and Eric Garner.
She finishes the video with what she sees as a poignant point: “What would America be like if it loved black people as much as it loves black culture?”

This young girl seems to have put a history report online. That's what it looks like to me. She's only 16, and she's of mixed heritage herself: Her mother is black American and her father is Danish.

The most interesting thing to me, about the drugstore shelves, is that it proves that we are all Individuals.
Marketing is smart, and fact-based.
No matter what silly ideas academics try to put into peoples’ heads, people are still individuals, and will ‘go their own way’, following their own dreams and perceptions. That’s the genius of being Human Individuals.
The concept of ‘Race’ is just a social construct.

I declare Black men who shave their heads appropriating the culture of “Old balding White men”! Has this child ever heard off Bo Derek who had a cornrow hairstyle in a movie called “10” and there was no outcry of racism because no one was such a ridiculous little twit! Oh yeah it was before she was born And Bo Derek was a Conservative and a “10” while she’s an idiot and just a 5 or 6.
